Where Amy Ate – Zapatista, Newcastle
It’s been a while since I did a Where Amy Ate post, mainly because the only places I eat out in are Costa or Cafe Nero ha. However today I was invited down to Newcastle to meet up with Rachel, Sian & Vicki as all the ladies like good food, I knew I was going to get a decent meal in a great restaurant. We had originally planned to go to the Fat Hippo for burgers however they don’t let you book a table during the day and when we arrived it was a 20 minute wait for a table then a 40 minute wait for food! Where Amy (And Little Miss) Ate – Maisies Chocolate Parlour and Crêperie
It’s been a while since I did a Where Amy Ate, but since Little Miss and I have eaten in the same place two weeks in a row I figured I should definitely feature it. I never normally feature anything from my home town, but this place is just too good. Maisies Chocolate Parlour and Crêperie, hidden under the Town Hall in all it’s original features glamour is the new place to go for a treat. At least in our house anyway. I can’t believe the last Where Amy Ate was my Paris Edition! That shows how little I have been eating out, or at least remembering to take photos when I eat out. #184 Where Amy Ate – Candy Bar, Edinburgh
It’s been a while since the last Where Amy Ate post, clearly I haven’t been eating out enough! Anyway, on Tuesday I headed up to Edinburgh with Alice to see some shows on The Fringe, we saw a slapstick show by some guys that Alice knows that perform as the Three Half Pints, it was bloody hilarious. We then went to see Britain’s Fuck All Talent which again was so damn funny. I recommend both of them if you need a good laugh while you’re up enjoying The Fringe festivities. Last week I was invited by the lovely Lesley up to the Hard Rock Cafe in Edinburgh for a bite to eat. So I caught a train up today as my mum is on holiday to babysit.
