Hello Five!
On Saturday Little Miss turned five! I’m not sure why but five seems a lot older than four! Maybe it’s because she’s at school now, or has almost lost her third tooth, or just the fact she really is no longer a baby. She is starting to read and write and is completely independent as far as dressing and undressing herself, brushing her hair, teeth and feeding herself. She really is a big girl now. Unlike last year I didn’t find done to do a pre-birthday photo shoot and put together a post because she was at school and then in the evening I had a cake and balloon disaster…

Gorgeous Grandma Day, 23rd July 2015*
Tomorrow is Gorgeous Grandma Day, and although I do think all these “unofficial” celebration days are a bit silly, I’m happy to take any opportunity to praise my Nanny (my Grandmother) and my mum (Little Miss’ Grandmother), especially after the year we’ve had with loosing my Grandpa. My Nanny is one in a million. She is now the head of our family after her husband, my Grandpa passed away in January. They have been together since my Nanny was 15 and married since she was 17. My Eight Favourite Toys for 0-2 Year Olds
LINKS REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE My daughter has a lot of toys, in fact.. that’s probably the understatement of the century. And yes, a lot of these are pink, but that’s because pink is her favourite colour. I am not one of these who sees toys as girls toys and boys toys, I tend to buy my daughter things I know she will enjoy. However saying that, I also see nothing wrong with girls liking pink and dolls, and princesses..
