How Much Does it Really Cost to Attend a Wedding?*
Don’t you just love when you can get everything you need outfit wise for an occassion from one shop? Especially an online shop that so regularly has great discounts such as 20% off and great sales. Yep, you must have guessed i’m talking about ASOS. When I needed something for a special occassion this summer I head straight there to put together an outfit that wouldn’t break the bank. With the help of a great sale that seemed to last all summer, I actually felt good for once when I was going out. #ChristmasJumperDay 2014
Today is Christmas Jumper Day! Last year Little Miss and I took part, so obviously when I saw matching sweaters in Asda that included a fair donation to Save The Children I knew what we would be wearing. If you are donning your festive sweater today, don’t forget to text JUMPER to 70050 to make your £2 donation. Save the Children is such a wonderful charity that helps children not just living in poverty around the world, but also here, right on our doorstep. I’m completely out of the swing of taking outfit posts. They’re just not top of my priority at the moment what with the bad weather meaning…

Outfit of the Day – That Smile I Lost, Well I’ve Found Somehow
I have been so lax on the outfit front so when my beautiful Blue Vanilla skirt arrived I just knew I had to make an effort to blog about it. So today was a bit sunny and a bit rainy but I thought, what the heck? I have an umbrella. So out I went. Only to my back garden though… Intergalactic Starlight Crown £10, Crown & Glory Miss Selfridge Leather Jacket (as seen here), Vinted Black Basic Top (ancient, similar here), H&M Live & Love Necklaces £4 each, Charmed Ivy Umbrella (belongs to my mum) Giovana Double Layer Skirt* £24, Blue Vanilla Trasparenze Gennifer Merino…

Outfit of the Day – Hey Mama Welcome to the Sixties
JD Williams kindly got in touch and asked me to take part in their Classic or Contemporary campaign. They gave me the chance to pick a couple of items from their website that are a style from another decade that have recently come back into fashion. My first thought was the 20s, 40s or 50s as that’s the style of clothing I usually go for in my day to day however as soon as I saw the collar on the swing dress, I knew it was the one and that my outfit would be 60s inspired. Although fashion wise I’m definitely drawn mainly to the 20s and 50s, I am…

Princess Grace of Monaco Inspired Hair with Glitzy Secrets
Garland of Pearls Head Band* £26, Glitzy Secrets Firstly, please ignore my huge nose and bumpy skin. Secondly, how bloody beautiful is this hairband? I love pretty things for my hair, which is why I post a lot of outfit posts featuring floral crowns! Anyway, this one comes from Glitzy Secrets, a lovely website that specialises in beautiful hair pieces and jewellery. Their target audience appears to be brides (and why the hell not? I’d LOVE to wear something on my wedding day from Glitzy Secrets!) however I was contacted and asked if I’d like to review something on the back of the new Grace of Monaco movie starting Nicole…

Bonmarche Summer 2014 Swimsuit Review
The other week I was contacted by Bonmarche, they offered me the chance to review something from their current summer range. Although I’m not going abroad to somewhere where I will need to wear a swimsuit until April, I’m always on the look out for bits and pieces to put away, as the shops will still be stocked with winter wear when I’m on the hunt for shorts and t-shirts! So of course, the chance to review a swimsuit did seem inciting and after a quick browse I saw the perfect one for my first hot holiday post baby. Black Spot Print Detail Swimdress* £22, Bonmarche The lovely people at…
