Bonmarche Summer 2014 Swimsuit Review
The other week I was contacted by Bonmarche, they offered me the chance to review something from their current summer range. Although I’m not going abroad to somewhere where I will need to wear a swimsuit until April, I’m always on the look out for bits and pieces to put away, as the shops will still be stocked with winter wear when I’m on the hunt for shorts and t-shirts! So of course, the chance to review a swimsuit did seem inciting and after a quick browse I saw the perfect one for my first hot holiday post baby.
Black Spot Print Detail Swimdress* £22, Bonmarche |
The lovely people at Bonmarche have allowed me to review this without doing an outfit post, because after all I wouldn’t want to cause anyone mental distress! Including myself!
As you can see the swimsuit isn’t your normal streamlined design, it has an extra piece of material draped over the front which is perfect for disguising any not so flattering tummies, like my own. This is really what drew me to this particular swimsuit due to the fact no matter how much weight I loose I still will always have that tell tale pot that goes along with a being a mum. I’ve tried this one and it looks great, really flattering. Plus the polka dot top piece definitely draws the eyes upwards, which is an added bonus. The polka dots against the black are a lovely contrast too and give the swimsuit a bit more of a 50s flare. I love the knot and the best part? I actually have quite a flattering cleavage which rarely happens! The fit is perfect and I constantly feel supportive which will come in handy at the Orlando water parks.
In case you didn’t know, Bonmarche is a women’s clothing brand that caters specifically for sizes 12+. It’s the largest value women’s brand in the UK and has won many fashion awards over the years. I had always written it off for women more of my mums age, but actually after I had a look it has some brilliant value (and respectable for mothers my age) items and the current sale is fantastic! You can collect in store for free or delivery is a set £2.99. The service was absolutely wonderful and I can’t recommend them enough.
