Blogmas Day 5 – A Trip to Meet Santa Claus
A short post for Blogmas today but a rather special one. This is my first Christmas Life post and I’m excited to share. Today in the little village my parents live in there was a Christmas fayre where you could meet Santa Claus. Usually they have a great one on a Friday night where they have Santa in his sleigh with reindeer and he turns on the Christmas lights, but this year, for whatever reason, that was cancelled and instead the fayre happened on a Saturday afternoon. A Visit to Lapland*
Recently on Facebook one of my friends asked what age you think it appropriate to take a child to visit Santa Claus in Lapland. For me, it’s very like a Disney holiday as it’s taking your child to see a fictional character they either believe to be real or not. At the moment, LM see’s all Disney characters as the real deal, and I feel if I invested in taking her to see Santa Claus in Lapland she’d feel the same way. In Retrospect // Christmas 2014
As I was on hiatus due to family stuff from the middle of December and then my blog has been moving from blogger to self hosted, I didn’t really get a chance to share any Christmas photos. In 2014 I am hoping to share a little more about life with Little Miss, including more photos. I’m tired of living behind blacked out windows and forcing my friends to do the same. Today is Christmas Jumper Day! Last year Little Miss and I took part, so obviously when I saw matching sweaters in Asda that included a fair donation to Save The Children I knew what we would be wearing. Shopping for Kids this Christmas*
A couple a months ago I compiled a post of my favourite toys for children age 0 – 2 as that’s the only experience I really have at the moment.
