Christmas Ideas for Stocking Fillers*

This is my final gift guide for the year guys. I apologise for the fact it’s smaller than the rest but I’m going through some stuff with my family and I don’t really want to spend hours in the evening on my laptop (hence the lack of post yesterday). Today I have a few stocking ideas for girls and guys. In our house we never bought designated stocking presents, it was just whatever was small or edible. I seem to do the same with LM and of course I don’t have a stocking. I know a lot of people do do stockings with their families or partners and that’s what inspired me to do this last gift guide.

Starting with the ideas for guys. I’ve accidentally gone for all comical items, but in my opinion those make the best stocking fillers. Starting on the left, some beer shower gel. Inspired by my dad who does love his beer, this is available at The Great Gift Company along with the bacon body wash, which was inspired by my best friend Bee and her other half.. although I’m unsure if either of them would want to wash in bacon shower gel, it’s more the fact “everything is better with bacon” is basically their life mantra. For the sport fan’s stocking how about these novelty football boot socks from IWOOT? They can pretend they’re playing football from the comfort of the sofa. Finally, a book I would personally get a good giggle out of because I’m slightly obsessed with the site when I need a laugh; Crap Taxidermy. Sometimes my sense of humour borders on the more male side when it comes to stupid things like this book.

Now for the ladies stocking ideas, or just what I’d like if someone made me a stocking! First up pink champagne bath salts from Presents for Men. If you can’t justify drinking the stuff every night, why not bathe in it instead? Topshop pants are the best, fact! This week they brought out these amazing Disney prince pants for £4 or 3 for £10. I obviously ordered them straight away. If I can’t have a prince in my bed, I’m going to have one (or many) covering my bottom. If you do need some stocking fillers for girls you have to check out Gifts and Pieces, they have loads of beautiful bits! My two favourites however are the packs of “What Would Blair Waldorf Do?” pencils which is something I ponder on a regular basis. And the “Everything Starts with a Dream” trinket box, the shabby chic style of it would mean it would fit perfectly on a dressing table.
