Wish You Were Here – Edinburgh
The week before Christmas I had a friend visiting from the US, she was staying for a couple of nights at my house but we decided to spend both the days taking the train up to Edinburgh. She particularly wanted to visit the castle. I haven’t visited the castle since I was a child so despite the hefty ticket price (£16 for an adult) I was looking forward to it. Despite still feeling dreadful I’ve decided this evening to pull my head out of my ass and get back to work. So tonight I’m sharing another review as it seems the kindest way to get back into this. Shopping Spotlight – Cheap Frills
I was in two minds as to whether or not I felt like blogging today. I’ve felt rubbish all day as I started taking my tablets and all afternoon I wasn’t sure I could get my mind in order. However now that Little Miss is in bed and I’m enjoying the silence, I’ve managed to prop myself up with a blanket and some cushions and I’m feeling a bit better now that I have spent the last 20 minutes resizing some images. The Secret Diary of an Insomniac
Credit I’m writing this at 6:12am, and I haven’t been to sleep yet. This is bad, even for me. I feel ill because I’m so tired, you know.. sick, shakey, yet my brain.. no matter what I do.. will not shut off. This is a common thing for me. So many nights do I lie awake willing my brain to just stop whizzing and whirling around so I can simply catch a few hours sleep. Outfit of the Day – I’m Not a Princess, This Ain’t a Fairy Tale
Last night I surpassed 100,000 views on my blog. What an achievement! I couldn’t believe it when I logged in this morning to start this post and I was over the 100,000 views mark. I did actually “woop” with joy. It’s so nice to know people read my blog even if it’s not really all about that. My blog is what keeps me going on those bad days (well aside from Little Miss) I’m always looking for something to write about. It would be lovely to reach the 200,000 mark by next January!
