Little Miss Cosplays Livvy Lou Who
It’s been a long time since I shared a Little Miss Cosplays post as most of our Disney content is over on Livvy Bird Adventures now, however this past weekend she cosplayed a non-Disney and very Christmassy character that I really wanted to share with you all.
This year LM’s favourite Christmas movie has been The Grinch. She watched it for the very first time at my parent’s house around mid November and she quick became obssessed. She must have seen it at least 12 times in the last month, which is a lot considering how much she’s at school and drama. I wasn’t surprised at her attachment to the movie since she’s been loving Cat in the Hat on Tiny Pop, so I guess she’s just a Dr Seuss fan. However, she tells me the reason she loves it so much is because Cindy Lou Who is just like her. Which I can definitely see. So of course, my child being so character inclined I had to pull her together a Who look in time for the festive season, and thankfully (as far as my purse is concerned anyway) we had a lot of bits lying around her wardobe that were just perfect for this Christmassy cosplay.

Putting this outfit together I spent less than £20 and it was worth it to see how happy it made her. The ear muffs I was going to buy to take to Disneyland Paris in January anyway, and the dress & hairband she’ll be wearing on Christmas day, everything else she had in her wardrobe.
I managed to half create Cindy Lou’s iconic hair with the braids clipped up at the side and the present hairband (which was a huge hit all weekend) hides the face she doesn’t have a tower on the top. LM has incredibly thin hair and no much of it. It actually causes a lot of heart ache for her as she’s desperate for thick Rapunzel-esq hair like the girls at school. But she did love the braids and even worth them again on Sunday to go to the Christmas market.
In my opinion (although I’m biased) I think she makes the perfect little Who of Whoville. She desperately wanted to be at Grinchmas that’s currently on at Universal Studios so she could meet the man himself, but she made do with meeting Santa Claus, for this year anyways!
“Santa, don’t forget the Grinch. I know he’s mean and hairy and smelly, and his hands are cold and clammy, but I think he’s kinda… sweet.”
