    Travel Bucket List – 21/10/2015*

    October 27, 2015 /

As of the 1st November, Cocktails in Teacups will be changing to a Disney Life, Parenting and Travel blog to reflect how my life has evolved. Now that my blog is three years old, I’ve changed and my life has changed so I wanted to focus on niche’s that I want to write about. No more beauty, only fashion related to Disney or child fashion, perhaps some cookery … but I’m not promising. Occasionally some content of a different sort may pop up, just to give you a heads up. In honour of the shift in emphasis on travel, today I’m sharing with you my current travel bucket list. It’s…

    October 22, 2015 /

In the world of beauty, clear skin is highly sought after, even more so than luscious hair and naturally long eyelashes. Clear skin feels great, is the perfect foundation for applying makeup, and it gives women confidence and pride in their appearance, so many will go above and beyond to achieve clearer skin. Cosplay for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2015*

    October 21, 2015 /

One of the highlights of our most recent trip to Walt Disney World was that for the first time ever I got to experience Halloween at Disney, including one of the famous Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties. In case you’re unaware, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (or MNSSHP) is a hard ticket event over the Halloween period at Magic Kingdom. Hard ticketed means you need to buy an additional ticket to your park pass, but believe m when I say it’s worth every penny! I was so incredibly excited about it, having already watched the parade “Boo to You” 100 times before flying out but I had managed…

Why I Take My Daughter to Disney

    October 17, 2015 /

Cocktails in Teacups will be shortly turning into a Disney, Life, Parenting and Travel blog and due to this, I wanted to address today one of the questions I’m most often asked, mainly on my twitter account Livvybirdadventures “Why do I take my 3 year old to Disney?” Technically, I don’t have to justify myself.. I usually just answer the messages politely and move on, but I really just wanted to share my reasons on my blog, so it’s on record. I understand fully that a holiday from the UK to Walt Disney World isn’t cheap. Trust me, I sit down monthly to ensure I save the right amount to…

A Hassle-Free Guide to City Breaks for Children

    October 16, 2015 /

Amaze little ones with the bright lights of the big city. A city represents adventure and excitement for children. City breaks are a good way to explore the area at leisure. Introduce your child to the delights of Manchester, London or York with a fun family trip. Destination Cosmopolitan cities. Historical cities. Quaint cities. Compact cities. Choose your destination with forethought. Consider how accessible it is from your home. Avoid spending hours on a train or in a car trying to reach it. Pick somewhere that has all the attractions you require.  Museums, parks, canals, and fun-filled activities for all the family. Whatever your personal preference ensure your city can…

What We Bought in Florida, September 2015

    October 5, 2015 /

A week ago today we left our favourite place in the world once again and as of yet I haven’t decided whether or not I’ll be doing a day by day diary. So instead I’m sharing what I picked up while out there. Last time I didn’t manage to do this as I’d put everything else away before taking photos. In the end I just shared my favourite bits and nothing of what LM got. This time however I photographed everything as soon as it came out of my cased, and now I have a post for you all. Starting with what I picked up for myself; You want to…
