12 Days of Christmas – My 5 Favourite Christmas Movies

    December 16, 2017 /

One of my favourite things to do at Christmas is to watch festive movies. I don’t keep them out all year around so it means LM pretty much binge watches them all between the end of November and the start of January to get her fill before the go up into the loft for the rest of the year. I also try and pick up some new ones every year so I am slowly building up a collection. In the past LM was more into the Christmas specials of Disney Jr shows such as Mickey Mouse Club House, Handy Manny and Sofia, however this year she’s really enjoyed watching some…

12 Days of Christmas – Surviving the Festive Season with Hello Fresh

    December 15, 2017 /

Christmas is such a busy time for everyone! Children have so much on at school, parents have all the prep, it’s not surprising that everyone’s healthy eating goes right out the window. Now I’m not talking diets here, I’m talking about actually having a hearty meal as a family and not just ordering take out or eating from the freezer for easiness every night. My mother and I usually meal plan before going grocery shopping, but I have to admit we haven’t since the start of December because we’ve been so busy, so when Hello Fresh sent me a three meal box, it felt like a complete blessing. I cannot…

The world of Disney is full of life, full of optimism, and, simply put, full of magic! There’s something liberating about stepping away from real life and into Disney’s world and now, it’s time to bring that feeling into your home. Home Content // 3 Ways to Keep Holiday Clutter Out of The Kitchen*

    December 15, 2017 /

Holiday baking is supposed to be fun, right? But there’s nothing fun about the mess that inevitably ends up in the kitchen throughout the holiday season. No one enjoys a messy kitchen, so why let clutter take over? Holiday clutter is bound to happen but you don’t have to let it overwhelm your kitchen. Here are three great methods for keeping the kitchen mess at bay. Credit Clean Out the Refrigerator It’s easy to overbuy food in the holidays, particularly if you’re shopping in a hurry. Often, we aren’t sure what we have at home in the refrigerator, so we simply buy more. Then we end up with too much.…

Little Miss Cosplays Livvy Lou Who

    December 14, 2017 /

It’s been a long time since I shared a Little Miss Cosplays post as most of our Disney content is over on Livvy Bird Adventures now, however this past weekend she cosplayed a non-Disney and very Christmassy character that I really wanted to share with you all. This year LM’s favourite Christmas movie has been The Grinch. She watched it for the very first time at my parent’s house around mid November and she quick became obssessed. She must have seen it at least 12 times in the last month, which is a lot considering how much she’s at school and drama. I wasn’t surprised at her attachment to the…

12 Days of Christmas – Christmas Traditions I Love

    December 13, 2017 /

I can’t believe in 12 days time it’ll be Christmas Day! That’s come around fast. I did originally want to do Blogmas but I’ve been so busy with work, stuff to do with LM and getting ready for Christmas, it just didn’t happen. However, I’ve managed to get enough Christmas content to do 12 Days of Christmas on the blog, starting today with Christmas Traditions I Love. These traditions are exclusive to my little family, we are not religious and although LM looks at the Birth of Jesus at school, and even does a Nativity, she’s well aware it’s simply a story and enjoys it for that. We celebrate Christmas…
