Travel Content // 4 of the Best Travel Destinations in the USA*

    March 13, 2018 /

Traveling is a great way to not only get away from your busy life and relax a little, but is also a great way to see and explore new cities or countries. There are many cool things to see, places to eat and things to do that you likely have never experienced before in these cities. Not only that, but traveling within the country can often be more affordable and the culture shock won’t be quite as large. With that…

Helping Your Child Stay Organised at School*

    March 11, 2018 /

Little Miss has now been at school for almost a year and a half. In the beginning it was mainly play, but as she grows we’re starting to get homework, difficult reading assignments and topic work. Understandably it’s sometimes hard for her to stay focused both in class and at home trying to complete homework. She’s just 6 and we get up in the morning at 7:30, leave the house at 8:30 and she doesn’t finish until 3:20. For such a small child it’s a lot and although she’s smart (more creative than academic though) I worry that without my help she’ll become bogged down with everything and lost in…

Travel Content // Coastal Stays vs Country Stays*

    March 10, 2018 /

Over the past few years stay cations have been growing in popularity. With the cost of holidays abroad and the failing exchange rate, it’s no surprise people are chosing to enjoy what we have here over jetting off to a beach somewhere. And do we prefer to feel the sea breeze in our hair or the quietness of the countryside much more appealing? The team at Cottages in Northumberland, a coastal cottages and country breaks…

    February 27, 2018 /

Have you booked a trip to Disney World this summer? May I be the first person, or perhaps the hundredth to say that you are going to have a fantastic time and that’s true whether you’re heading off with the kids or taking a romantic trip. There’s something for everyone over in Disney World, and they are constantly adding new experiences for adults and kids alike. Things to Think About When Choosing a Bridesmaid Dress*

    February 26, 2018 /

When planning a wedding there are so many different aspects to consider. From picking a venue, menu, music, a colour scheme. Discussing who to invite, where to sit them. There is just so much to do, so much so you may need help from outside family and friends. One of my best friends is getting married in December and she’s asked me to be a bridesmaid. I’ve never been a bridesmaid before so when she asked about a dress I had absolutely no idea where to begin. Thankfully she’s great and not at all a bridezilla so her main concern is our comfort. But still, it doesn’t change the things…
