Shopping Spotlight – A Curious Fairytale
LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEM NO LONGER FOR SALE. I feel like I have been really absent from the blogosphere of late but it’s down to two reasons, First is that since returning from my holiday I have been so incredibly tired which wasn’t aided by the fact Little Miss was then unwell and ended up sleeping in my bed, which means I get no sleep as I have a fear of rolling on her. Second reason is next Saturday is the Lincs Blogger Meet, Bee and I have been planning since March. Because of this my evenings have been spent doing stuff for that as at the moment…

Outfit of the Day – She Made Herself Stronger by Fighting with the Wind
– The Secret Garden by Francis Hodgson Burnett I’m not sure 100% why I’m doing an outfit of the day after my one last week was so badly received! But this dress really was too beautiful not to share with you all. And the fact that I just found out today I’m going to be going somewhere to wear it to! I never get invited anywhere that dressing up in nice clothes is required so I was pretty excited to be invited to a wedding reception next month and I know that night I definitely won’t have time to take outfit photos! Secret Garden…

Outfit of the Day – The Girl at the Rock Show
Firstly, I am well aware that my festival fashion inspired post isn’t something you’d wear to a “rock show” in fact my usual rock show attire consisted of a tank top, tutu skirt and high tops! However this is the only song I could think of off the top of my head that reminded me of festivals. Maybe because one of the lines is “I couldn’t wait for the summer and the Warped Tour” and the Warped Tour is the only festival I’d now want to go to. When I used to go to festivals there wasn’t such a thing as “festival chic” everyone looked grubby together, everyone went the…

Baker Days Letterbox Cake Review*
Hands up who has ever eaten cake for breakfast? I have to admit, I’m guilty for having it whenever we have cake (or chocolate for that matter) in the house. I make Little Miss her breakfast then I hide out in the kitchen with my cup of tea and something sweet. At least I manage to be a good mother even when my sweet tooth gets the better of me. So of course, imagine my excitement when a cake drops through my letter box at breakfast? I smuggled it straight into the kitchen while Little Miss was sat eating her toast and banana and cut myself a few slices to…

Stationary at Viking Direct Review
ALL LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE. Who doesn’t love new stationary? Who’s favourite part about going back to school in September, wasn’t the all important purchasing of the new pencil case and all it’s contends? I am guilty of that. And even now, I am a sucker for beautiful stationary. I have 101 gorgeous notebooks that I fill with ideas and lists, I have boxes of pencils all used for different things. Even when it comes to stationary for Little Miss, I’m a snob and always go for Crayola as my dad instilled in my sister and I that that is…
