Tortilla Pizza Recipe
I’m so tired at the moment! My mum has been ill with stress for a few days so I haven’t had any time to catch up on the sleep as Little Miss has taken all her naps in our room instead of my mum’s; meaning I haven’t been able to go back for a nap. I know an extra hour doesn’t seem like much to anyone but when your baby is up a few times a night because she is teething, an hour is a like a celestial gift! Today I don’t even think I pulled a brush through my hair! Such is the life of a mother. Due to…

Benefit ‘Fake Up’ Event in Newcastle
This weekend, despite being ill, the most exciting thing happened to me, I was invited to my first ever blogger event and the best part of it all? It was for one of my favourite cosmetics companies, Benefit! I’ve mentioned several times about how much I love They’re Real mascara but I also use The Porefessional & until now Erase Paste on a regular basis. The fact that this event was also being held in near by Newcastle basically made it a dream come true. My mum agreed instantly to look after Little Miss for me so I could go (she feels I don’t socialise enough close to home). …

#72 The Fault in Our Stars by John Green Review
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. This is not the first John Green book I’ve read, one of my besties is probably one of his biggest fans and she introduced me to his wonderful writings when we lived together by lending me Looking for Alaska. Since then I’ve read Paper Towns and now The Fault in Our Stars. If you haven’t yet found yourself picking up one…

#67 Recipe No.7 Mac & Cheese
This was going to be a scheduled post while I was away at the weekend however I didn’t get it done before I left so I bring it to you now. For me, macaroni cheese is the ultimate comfort food. It reminds me of time I’ve spent in New York as it was often a go to dish for me however last week was the first time I’d made it from scratch myself. Usually if I do make it, I get the four cheese sauce and just stick it on the dry macaroni before putting it in the oven. It’s good but not exactly satisfying. I got this recipe once…

#66 Wish You Were Here – Lincoln in February
I worked out the other day, I have spent one fifth of my life living in Lincoln. I love the place and it would of been a lovely place to raise my daughter had things worked out differently. However I’m now lucky that every couple of months I get to go back and visit friends, i’m lucky that I get to “holiday” so often in such a great place. On Friday I took the train down for some premature birthday celebrations with my two ex housemates. I had a wonderful weekend filled with a lot of food, a lot of alcohol and a lot of shopping. The weather wasn’t great,…
