Facacia Anti-Bacterial Serum and Face Wash, First Impressions
Facacia Skincare System Anti-Bacterial Facial Wash & Serum* £29.99, QVC Firstly, I apologise for the terrible quality of these photos. Unfortunately I haven’t seen day light for the past couple of days due to the constant showers. Now I’m not complaining (well, maybe a little bit) it is a nice break from the muggy heat but it sucks for taking blog photos in natural light and since i’m not flush with cash enough to afford a light box (or whatever it’s called) I have had to use my bedroom light, which of course covers the room in that yellow tinge which is a nightmare to get rid of! ANYWAY, I…

Brand of the Month – Weleda
It has been a little while since I did a Brand of the Month, so here it is, Weleda. I was first introduced to Weleda when organasing the #lincsblogmeet but seemingly this brand has been around for YEARS and have some big celebrity fans. At the #lincsblogmeet Una gave a fantastic talk and introduction to the company for any newbies like myself and it seems that Weleda has been leading the way in natural wellbeing for years, once again.. I’m not sure how I missed the memo because since receiving these three products not only have I seen Weleda everywhere, I’ve sort of fallen in love. In everyone’s #lincblogmeet…

The Perfectly Honest Single Parent Post
Hi my name is Amy and I’m a single mother. I have a two year old daughter from a previous (domestic abusive) relationship and she has nothing to do with her father. I am not just a single mother, I’m a sole parent. I make all the decisions in regards to how my child is raised and I also am the only person who sets rules and boundaries. My daughter attends nursery five hours a week. Aside from that, she is with me. In the blogging world it appears to be frowned upon to admit your child is anything less than perfect. Like with everything in life as far as…

It was all kinds of epic especially the part where I got to cosplay! It’s now a new addiction. Attending a wedding reception for the first time in years, not the wedding part but spending time with people I hadn’t seen in a while.…

Disney Cosplay – Ariel, The Little Mermaid
As you saw in my London Film and Comicon post from a few days ago on the Saturday along with Bee, her partner Chris, her brother Chris and his girlfriend Erika, we dabbled in the world of cosplay.. and I don’t know about them, but I definitely caught the bug! Although I do put this down the fact I am slightly in love with my dress. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know that for a long time I’ve wanted to cosplay Ariel from The Little Mermaid, in particularly the blue dress that she wears when Eric is showing her around the kingdom. So when deciding…

Summer Recipes with Baking Mad
The other week I was sent a hamper of goodies c/o Baking Mad which was actually perfect timing as it was my sister’s birthday the following week. I am the chief cake baker in the family and I always try to do something different for each birthday. My dad had chocolate and salted caramel, my mum had sponge and fresh berries and for my sister, since her birthday is in July, I’d planned on making her an ice cream themed cake! I don’t have a recipe to share with you all since to achieve my ice cream masterpiece I actually mashed together quite a few recipes from Baking Mad’s summer…
