In Retrospect // Christmas 2014
As I was on hiatus due to family stuff from the middle of December and then my blog has been moving from blogger to self hosted, I didn’t really get a chance to share any Christmas photos. In 2014 I am hoping to share a little more about life with Little Miss, including more photos. I’m tired of living behind blacked out windows and forcing my friends to do the same. Although, I didn’t actually take that many of LM as she’s going through the phase where she won’t pose for photos (or stay still) so I’m trying to keep the camera out of her face until Florida. Anyway, I’m…

Personal Style – Tell me, princess now when did you last, let your heart decide?
Firstly, originally I had absolutely no intention of blogging until I finally got my blog switched over to self hosted WordPress. I wanted a new start along with the new year. However it’s taking longer than I first anticipated due to Enom delaying in releasing my domain. I could of course have this page redirect to a WordPress one but it seems silly to mess around then to only have to try and switch it back when my domain name is finally switched over. I’m really not the most technical minded so I’d prefer to only sort it once. So here I am again! I have loads of new content…

Kitsch Culture – Nobody Does it Better Than Here*
When it comes to kitsch – nobody does it better than the British. Things pretty quickly get so far out they’re back in style. This is the king…

Job Seeker Tips: Understanding Psychometric Testing*
There has been a shift in the recruitment and hiring industries over recent years. Now the attitude of candidates receives as much – or sometimes more – weighting as their aptitude to perform a certain role. In their quest to match people’s personality and work style to the right role and team at the right organisation, many recruiters and human resources departments like Chandler Macleod are now using a combination of psychometric testing applications, psychology based testing and interviews to assess and place candidates. Below you’ll find more information about some of the tests that you may come across while you’re searching for your next job. What Is Psychometric Testing?…

#ChristmasJumperDay 2014
Today is Christmas Jumper Day! Last year Little Miss and I took part, so obviously when I saw matching sweaters in Asda that included a fair donation to Save The Children I knew what we would be wearing. If you are donning your festive sweater today, don’t forget to text JUMPER to 70050 to make your £2 donation. Save the Children is such a wonderful charity that helps children not just living in poverty around the world, but also here, right on our doorstep. I’m completely out of the swing of taking outfit posts. They’re just not top of my priority at the moment what with the bad weather meaning…
