Going For A Walk In The Bush
If you plan on doing some hiking and bushwalking while you are in the park, then it is essential that you bring the correct equipment with you. You will need a guide to the local area, a good backpack and sturdy walking shoes, plenty of sunscreen and lip balm, as well as water and sunglasses. A basic first aid kit is essential, and you may also wish to bring along some insect repellent. Wear lightweight clothing, and you can also opt for a hiking pole. One thing that you should not forget though is your camera, as there will be plenty of photo opportunities.

Essential Leisure Items
You will not only pack the things that you are going to need for bushwalking, you will also need to bring along items for other leisure activities when you are staying at your Kakadu accommodation. There are opportunities to go snorkelling, as well as swimming, so a bathing costume is essential. Again, you will need plenty of sunscreen if you are going swimming, and sunglasses as well as a wide-brimmed hat are also advisable. Make sure that you pack a towel with you and also prepare for the evenings with some warmer clothes, as it can get a little chilly at night time.

Camping In Kakadu
There is also the option that you can go camping in Kakadu National Park, as there are lots of facilities available. You will need to ensure that you bring along plenty of food and water to last for the duration of your stay and more, just in case of an emergency. You may also need to bring a couple of torches for the dark nights to help you see where you are going at night. Also, make sure that you bring lots of rubbish bags with you and dispose of all of your rubbish correctly. If we want to keep the park looking in pristine condition, then all visitors must help to clean up after themselves.

A Little Bit Of Tech
If you cannot leave your technology behind then, you may wish to bring your Smartphone with you, as this can also double up as your camera. Most people always take their phones with them no matter where they go, even if they cannot get a signal. If you are staying in a hotel then you will be able to charge your devices, so make sure that you bring the chargers with you.

You can also bring other devices with you such as your E-reader and enjoy reading your favourite book as the sun sets in the beautiful Kakadu National Park.
