Things I’m Looking Forward to in Summer*
Next month will begin the first summer holidays I will be spending with LM. For the past two years she attended nursery over the summer so for 5 hours a week she was still out of my hands. However since January she has been attending pre-school 5 days a week so I will really feel it when it comes to having her at home very day for 6 weeks. Not only that but it’s also going to be the run up to our holiday so it will seriously feel like a lifetime. However, I have been making plans to entertain LM (and myself). Next week is Summer Solstice, I have…

Outfit of the Day – Yumi 30 Days of Summer
Today I’m joining in with Yumi 30 Days of Summer. 30 fashion bloggers have been asked to create an outfit using their favourite SS15 pieces from Yumi’s current collection and I’m one of them. What an honour! Yumi has been one of my favourite labels since I was in college (which is coming up 10 years now!) so I was so excited to take part. I’m one of 30 stylish bloggers who have been asked to share their favourite summer Yumi outfit. Every day in July over on the Yumi blog there will be a different fashion blogger sharing their outfit, so make sure you check it out. So, as…

A Day in the Life, June 2015
So I missed out on April & May as far as a day in the life posts are concerned, but I’m back and I’ve made a note to do it. I’m super sad I was really wanting to do a day while we were in Florida! Maybe in September eh? This was another week day, another Wednesday actually but I’ve tried to photograph different things despite the routine being fairly similar! It’s another week day. Week days fall into two categories on how they play out, if LM is at pre-school in the morning we’re out the house by 8:40 and usually don’t return until 5pm. But this was a…

Father’s Day Gift Guide 2015*
ALL LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Last month I explored unusual gifts to get your dad this father’s day, but then I remembered I put together a really lovely gift guide for mother’s day and wanted to do the same (it’s only fair, right?) So here is my gift guide for father’s this father’s day. Milk Chocolate Great British Tool Box* £3.50, Retro Sweets. It’s Father’s Day, dad doesn’t want to be cracking on with some DIY, so instead present him with a box of chocolates shaped like a tool box! Not only is it a cute idea, but it’s a product made here in the…

Disney x Vans
So it now goes without saying I love Disney so as soon as I heard they were releasing another collaboration with Vans I was psyched. Nothing had really caught my eye first time around so I was really hoping to that something would this time. Then I found out there would be Princess shoes this time, and not just princess.. Ariel. I waited patiently with growing dread that the ones I wanted most would be US exclusive and at first glance, I thought they were! They didn’t appear on the Schuh or the Vans website but thankfully Claire (of The Princess and the Frock) popped into the Vans store for…

Walt Disney World Bucket List for September 2015
You know when you have loads of posts to write but you just can’t decide what to write? That’s how I’ve been the last two days so instead I’ve cleaned. But today I’ve been up with LM since 7:30, I’m fully on top of all my housework so it’s time to sit down and blog. And because I still really don’t know what to write, I’m going to share with you a blog post I’ve had in the works for a few weeks, my bucket list for our holiday in September. When I first booked out trip for April I wanted to do as much as humanly possible in case…
