Halloween 2015
As I’m sure you’re all aware, yesterday was October 31st, Halloween. But in our house it’s felt like Halloween has gone on for a long time. It was Halloween when we went to Disney World in September and we attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party. Then we went to Disneyland Paris at the beginning of October and it was also Halloween there! Because of all this Halloween activity, Little Miss has really got into it this year! As you all know she adores to dress up, so we decided to push the boat out with her costume on the day by going for one with a wig. Because of…

What Little Miss Read – New Releases
As I’m only in the process of turning this into a parenting blog, Little Miss has never really benefited much from it in the past. However, she has been lucky over the past few weeks as I’ve been sent some new release books for us to read. Which is actually amazing since every night I have to read one or two stories to her, depending on however she’s behaved throughout the day. However, mummy has a little secret.. mummy hates reading the same story over and over, I need a good few months break before I’m happy to revisit a book. This has only come into affect since May when…

Appleyard London Harmony Bouquet Review
With my eternal singledom continuing it’s very rare that I have a beautiful bouquet of flowers in my house, despite completely adoring them. Occassionally I’ll buy a small bunch for a couple of pound at the supermarket to cheer myself up on a bad day, but there is truly nothing better than a big bunch you didn’t buy yourself landing on your doorstep. That’s what happened to me last week as I was offered the chance to review a signature bunch by the flower delivery company, Appleyard London. How exciting! The bunch I received is called Harmony* RRP £46, a beautiful bouquet made up of white freesia, memory lane lilac…

Travel Bucket List – 21/10/2015*
As of the 1st November, Cocktails in Teacups will be changing to a Disney Life, Parenting and Travel blog to reflect how my life has evolved. Now that my blog is three years old, I’ve changed and my life has changed so I wanted to focus on niche’s that I want to write about. No more beauty, only fashion related to Disney or child fashion, perhaps some cookery … but I’m not promising. Occasionally some content of a different sort may pop up, just to give you a heads up. In honour of the shift in emphasis on travel, today I’m sharing with you my current travel bucket list. It’s…

Cosplay for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2015*
One of the highlights of our most recent trip to Walt Disney World was that for the first time ever I got to experience Halloween at Disney, including one of the famous Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties. In case you’re unaware, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (or MNSSHP) is a hard ticket event over the Halloween period at Magic Kingdom. Hard ticketed means you need to buy an additional ticket to your park pass, but believe m when I say it’s worth every penny! I was so incredibly excited about it, having already watched the parade “Boo to You” 100 times before flying out but I had managed…
