Best Buying Guide on Choosing a King Size Mattress*

    November 7, 2017 /

Have you tried replacing your old mattress? Well, while this may sound exciting but it’s not such a simple process. There are hundreds of different models in the market nowadays making it harder for us to choose the best. Besides, the cost is also a huge issue, and you’ll find others going for shocking prices. However, when it comes to mattresses, you get what pay for. Before I replaced my old mattress, it served me for more than ten years. Of course, not even the best mattresses can beat the test of time, and it eventually got worn out. So, while picking a king size mattress, ensure that it’s of…

5 Things to Do If Your Flight is Delayed*

    November 1, 2017 /

Last year I had the unfortunate experience of my flight being severely delayed and then cancelled. Thankfully I was travelling on my own and it was before the final train back to my home town so I was able to hop on that and then have my dad collect me from the station at 11 pm. Had it even been an hour or so later I wouldn’t have made it home and it would have been a completely different story. I was flying EasyJet and they offered me a free flight (which I used in April) or compensation. The delay was due to a crew member being sick and the…

    Happy Halloween 2017

    October 29, 2017 /

For the past three years my parents have thrown a Halloween party for the 6 of us, it might seem a little lame but it’s always so much fun and just one of the reasons that despite the hard time, I love my family. For the past two years we’ve been required to dress up, which just adds to the hilarious. There is food, games, and movies to really get us into the Halloween spirit. Although Halloween night isn’t until Tuesday we had the party this afternoon as the kids, my mum and sister are back to work tomorrow. We’ll take the kids trick or treating on the 31st and…

5 Places to Sell Things When Money Gets Tight*

    October 27, 2017 /

Being self employed means I don’t happen to have a steady wage coming in. Sometimes I earn better than average wage, sometimes I barely earn anything depending on the work I put in and what’s available it is. This means some months sees money being a lot tighter for LM and I. Because of this I look for other things I can do to make up any extra money I need. Like most people I have a lot of unused items lying around my house that could be put to better use by other people, and that’s why if I’m a little short on cash I usually sell things. Over…

5 Educational Adventures to Take With Your Kids*

    October 26, 2017 /

A year past September my daughter started school and unsurprisingly she loved it. Like really loved it. In fact, she loved it so much she plays schools when she gets home and has a register and even “teaching material”. My mum says if you could go to school every day, Little Miss would. She loves to do homework, for example last weekend in Disneyland Paris while I was looking after my friends daughter while they rode the roller coasters, the girls did maths problems. She can read anything, even books with no pictures. She wants to learn all the time, which is why this year our days out have taken…

5 Things to Do With Your Kids In The Winter (That Aren’t Christmas Related)*

    October 26, 2017 /

For me, November signals the start of the winter months, the weather gets colder and there isn’t as much you can do with your kids. If you live in England like we do, most days will be dark and wet so coming up with fun things to keep the little ones entertained at the weekend and on evenings can be tricky. Although there are a lot of Christmas activities available from the end of November onwards what about January and February? Or perhaps you don’t celebrate the season. What do you get up to then? This is why I’ve put together 5 fun activities for kids to do during the…
