In recent years, smart phones and other modern technology have become a key source of entertainment for both adults and children. While having many advantages, this obsession with technology has led to many psychological and physical issues. That’s why extracurricular activities are so important for children. I have teamed up with Taunton School to explore the benefits of extracurricular activities.

Extracurricular activities are a great way for your children to make new friends with other students that have similar interests. They will develop various important social skills, including respect for others and teamwork. Being surrounded by new people, in a new environment with be a great for your child’s confidence.

Creativity & Expression
Allowing your child to explore their interests in an extracurricular environment will boost their creativity and help them learn to express themselves. Drama clubs, music lessons and art classes are just a options, all of which might contribute to your child’s education as well as their personal fulfilment.

Adding extracurricular activities to your child’s schedule will help them learn to manage their time and be responsible for their own priorities. Knowing how to manage one’s time effectively is a useful skill and can often help diminish stress.
