How Much Does it Really Cost to Attend a Wedding?*
Don’t you just love when you can get everything you need outfit wise for an occassion from one shop? Especially an online shop that so regularly has great discounts such as 20% off and great sales. Yep, you must have guessed i’m talking about ASOS. When I needed something for a special occassion this summer I head straight there to put together an outfit that wouldn’t break the bank. With the help of a great sale that seemed to last all summer, I actually felt good for once when I was going out. Personal Style – And I’ll Keep Wondering and Wondering and Wondering and Wondering
Today I’m showcasing dress number 6 for my trip to Walt Disney World, I have less than 7 weeks to go and currently 5 more outfits to share, I say currently because there is a high chance I’ll be buying another 1 or 2 dresses before I go. This has to be my favourite outfit so far, I don’t know if it’s because I sneakily got on the scales this morning and saw that I’d lost 2lbs over the weekend just from purely sticking to Slimming World so I feel great, or the fact the weight loss is starting to show. I am obviously wearing a black sweater which could…

Outfit of the Day – Watch & You’ll See Some Day I’ll Be, Part of your World
When in doubt, dress up. This whole week has felt like an uphill struggle and tomorrow it culminates in my grandfathers funeral. I haven’t slept well so this morning I needed a fashion pick me up in the form of one of my Disney dresses. I missed last week’s Disney Side personal style post so I was going to make sure I got one up. I’m already panicking I won’t get all my dresses shared before I go! It definitely helped put a smile on my face wearing Disney today, especially as it was a dress with my fashion inspiration Ariel on it. Lotta Rosie Headband in Turquoise £18,…

Personal Style – Now I’m Here, Blinking in the Starlight
Week two of showcasing my holiday wardrobe (styled for winter though since it’s freezing cold and crazy windy) and I’m managing to keep up. My trouble with trying to do outfit posts is the time. Firstly it has to be in the morning because a) my hair and make up don’t look like i’ve been dragged through a hedge and b) the light in the kitchen. Then obviously Little Miss needs to be occupied. If she’s having a relatively moany morning I can’t very well spending time in the kitchen with the door shut, I have to be present and ready to play. Thankfully this morning she was happy playing…

Outfit of the Day – Hey Mama Welcome to the Sixties
JD Williams kindly got in touch and asked me to take part in their Classic or Contemporary campaign. They gave me the chance to pick a couple of items from their website that are a style from another decade that have recently come back into fashion. My first thought was the 20s, 40s or 50s as that’s the style of clothing I usually go for in my day to day however as soon as I saw the collar on the swing dress, I knew it was the one and that my outfit would be 60s inspired. Although fashion wise I’m definitely drawn mainly to the 20s and 50s, I am…
