USA Travels Haul
I have one final post to do about my trip, and I think I’m putting off doing it because a) it’s long as it’s all my photos from my Niagara Falls tour, and b) because after it’s done it’ll really feel like my holiday is behind me! 24th August – A Whole New World
On Sunday the 24th, I had until 3pm to myself so I’d penciled in more sightseeing in NYC. First I had to get up relatively early to switch hotels. The one I stayed in Friday & Saturday was sold out for Sunday so I’d booked a Hilton, and if i’m honest, I wish I’d just stayed there the whole time. For £70 a night I got a corner room on the top floor with the most amazing view of the Empire State and the New Yorker! 20th August – There’s The Whole World at Your Feet
Once again i’m up incredibly early (although it was 6am today and not 5am) i’m showered and dressed so now i’m sat at the desk in the hotel room with a bottle of Half & Half Nantucket Nectars (my new favourite drink) blogging before breakfast. In a few hours i’m meeting some friends who are coming in from West Virginia, I haven’t seen them in 5 years so we’re going to the Smithsonian, hanging out and eating Chipotle. Summer Travel Planning, Part 3 – Packing The Wash & Make Up Bags
With 8 days to go, we’re up to the packing! I leave very early next Tuesday morning which gives me just over a week to make sure I have everything. For the past month things have just been thrown into the open suitcase onto my bedroom floor, but last night I sat down with my lists and filled up my toiletry and make up bags, making them ready to blog about today.
