During out trip to Newcastle this week to attend the Quentin Blake exhibition at the Laing Art Gallery, my mum kindly gifted us some Tesco Clubcard vouchers to have lunch. A few weeks back when we went adventuring to Newcastle, we had lunch in The Botanist on our second day. Prior to setting out I had googled “Places to Eat in Newcastle with Kids” and I came across a post by Samantha of North East Family Fun that helped me decide on The Botanist. Although my main reason for a child free weekend at Bee‘s was to go to SFCC when she posted about visiting NYC Bar & Grill last week I really wanted to go! It’s been a while since I did a Where Amy Ate post, mainly because the only places I eat out in are Costa or Cafe Nero ha. However today I was invited down to Newcastle to meet up with Rachel, Sian & Vicki as all the ladies like good food, I knew I was going to get a decent meal in a great restaurant. Where Amy (And Little Miss) Ate – Maisies Chocolate Parlour and Crêperie
It’s been a while since I did a Where Amy Ate, but since Little Miss and I have eaten in the same place two weeks in a row I figured I should definitely feature it. I never normally feature anything from my home town, but this place is just too good. Maisies Chocolate Parlour and Crêperie, hidden under the Town Hall in all it’s original features glamour is the new place to go for a treat. At least in our house anyway.
