Disney in Details – Disney Studios, Disneyland Paris

    June 17, 2014 /

I can hardly believe i’m up to my third (of five, I think) Disneyland Paris posts. This time I’m focusing on the Disney Studios Park which we spent our second day at. This whole park was technically new to me since when I last visited Disneyland Paris there was no Studios Park, however I think it’s supposed to be a smaller version of MGM Studios in Orlando, well Hollywood Studios as it’s now known. Although, in my opinion this park is a far cry from it’s American cousin. In fact, I guess I’d go as far as to say I was slightly disappointed in it. Not so much that I…

Disney in Details – Disneyland Park, Disneyland Paris

    June 10, 2014 /

It was so incredibly hard to narrow down which photos to use for this post dedicated to the Disneyland Park. I took the majority of my photos here, especially the first day when the weather was beautiful! Originally we’d planned to spend the third day between the two parks, but after finishing the whole of the Studios park in one day, we ended up spending another day in the main park. And I am so glad, because like with Magic Kingdom in Florida, it’s my favourite. Like with everywhere owned by Disney, the attention to detail is just amazing, especially the castle. If I’m honest, I think the castle in…

Disney in Details – Hotel Cheyenne, Disneyland Paris

    June 7, 2014 /

I’ve decided that i’ve held you all in suspense for long enough in regards to what I got up to on my holidays to Disneyland Paris. I took over 800 photos over four days, which is a lot to narrow down to a few to share on my blog. Instead of doing a day by day in depth analysis, I’m going to split the photos into the hotel, Disneyland Park, Disney Studios Park, where we ate and finally a post of tips from my experience. I did the whole “we did this, this and this” with Paris, but I know how long it made the post. I also know a…

Where Amy Ate – Paris City Break Edition

    November 17, 2013 /

WARNING; This post is very photograph & text heavy. This lovely sunny Sunday morning I’m bringing you a very special edition of Where Amy Ate, all about the places Hayley and I ate while in Paris last month. I promise this is my penultimate Paris related post (as I’m sure you’re all getting bored of hearing about it) anyway, we ate in such great places I thought I’d share them all in their own foodie related post. There are so many great places to eat while in Paris, and I’m hoping maybe this post will serve as inspiration for anyone going who doesn’t have a clue where to start when…

    Paris City Break Haul

    November 16, 2013 /

I can’t believe it’s been over two weeks since I came back from Paris already and we’re over half way through November! I’m already planning like hell for my trips next year, 2014 is definitely going to be the year of some major exploration, Paris really gave me the bug! I want to give Little Miss so many experiences, ones I never got to have as a child and that includes seeing some parts of the country. I’m so lucky to have friends all over the shop who are willing to accommodate us both. Anyway, today’s post is to show you what I bought while I was visiting The City…

Paris City Break – Day Three

    November 6, 2013 /

WARNING; This post is very photograph & text heavy. By the third day we’d seen all the big things we really wanted to see. We decided to head out for breakfast after the complimentary breakfast at the hostel wasn’t that amazing (can’t expect much when it’s free!) Hayley had found this place called Breakfast in America which was an authentic American diner in Paris. We had to go. When we arrived we had a bit of a giggle at the fact it was right next door to La Favourite where we’d dined the night before. Oh well. The food was fantastic and will be featured in my special edition of…
