The Tale of the Little Easter Bunny
This week my nephew decided to take it upon himself to make Easter a person, much like Santa Claus. Both he and Little Miss have been telling everyone that “Easter is coming with eggs” so I decided to take it upon myself to make Easter into a person for Little Miss. I’m not religious but due to having a Catholic upbringing I do observe the holidays. Our household is very much an agnostic apathetic area and I do intend to bring my daughter up that way. Christmas is about family and Easter is.. about chocolate of course! At Christmas, Santa Claus is the bringer of goodies, at Easter it’s… you…

Ways I Know I’m Growing Up
Since turning twenty six last month, I’ve started to notice that I’m doing things that make me feel and think like a grown up. I know as women get older they’re supposed to turn into their mothers, I already notice my own mum turning into my Nanny, in fact all her sisters are turning into my Nanny.. but these things aren’t all exactly things that I know my mum does, they’re just trains of thought and behavioral habits that remind me that I’m now entering my late twenties and my teenage years are long behind me. I thought i’d share them on my blog today. Sleep Routine In the past…

Two.
Two years ago today, at 16:20 weighing 5lbs 2oz my beautiful daughter was born 13 days early. I loved her from the moment I saw her and I love her more every day. Today really brought home how incredibly proud I am of the little girl she’s turning into. She’s smart, funny, imaginative, polite and incredibly beautiful. I love every second being her mother, even on the bad days, which are thankfully few and far between. We had a rough two years but I think it’s made our relationship stronger. I love being her mummy, she’s everything I could ever of wish for in a child. We have had a…

De-Stressing Sunday
I never edit my photos in such a way, filters just don’t feel very honest. However, since i’m not reviewing anything or showing anything off, I thought i’d stick a filter on these photos as it sort of reflects the kind of day I’ve had. As I mentioned in my new years post, I want to try and get on top of my insomnia and anxiety. As of yet, this hasn’t happened in the slightest. In fact, since the new year began it’s been getting worse. Last night I had an early night planned but when I went to bed I couldn’t sleep until 4am.. and then I had two…

Paris City Break – Day Three
WARNING; This post is very photograph & text heavy. By the third day we’d seen all the big things we really wanted to see. We decided to head out for breakfast after the complimentary breakfast at the hostel wasn’t that amazing (can’t expect much when it’s free!) Hayley had found this place called Breakfast in America which was an authentic American diner in Paris. We had to go. When we arrived we had a bit of a giggle at the fact it was right next door to La Favourite where we’d dined the night before. Oh well. The food was fantastic and will be featured in my special edition of…

Paris City Break – Day Two
WARNING; This post is very photograph & text heavy. The night before we sort of planned what we wanted to do on day two, it was all worked around Hayley‘s 13:30 reservation at the Cat Cafe. We’d also tried to book Eiffel Tower tickets online from the hostel but it was booked up until the Wednesday. We didn’t want to take a chance that the weather was going to turn so instead we made our way to the Eiffel Tower for it’s opening at 9:30 hoping the queue would be at it’s shortest. Luckily we were right, although it wasn’t as short as we would of liked. It was another…
