Gluten Free American Pancakes with Bacon (and an ice latte on the side) Recipe
Last week when I was contacted to let me know I’d been selected by the International Currency Exchange to enter the Travelling for Food Blogger Cooking Competition, I was so excited.. mainly because I knew exactly what I was going to make. While my parents were in holiday and my sister and I were feeling a little down, she whipped up some delicious gluten free pancakes. Gluten free I hear you ask? Why ever for? My sister has discovered this year that she has a major gluten intolerance so we are trying new recipes to find delicious food that she can eat. We are both huge fans of the state side…

Summer Recipes with Baking Mad
The other week I was sent a hamper of goodies c/o Baking Mad which was actually perfect timing as it was my sister’s birthday the following week. I am the chief cake baker in the family and I always try to do something different for each birthday. My dad had chocolate and salted caramel, my mum had sponge and fresh berries and for my sister, since her birthday is in July, I’d planned on making her an ice cream themed cake! I don’t have a recipe to share with you all since to achieve my ice cream masterpiece I actually mashed together quite a few recipes from Baking Mad’s summer…

Disney in Details – Where Amy Ate, Disneyland Paris Edition
Welcome to Disney in Details, Disneyland Paris, post four of five! This time I’m going to be telling you all about eating in Disneyland, so basically a DLP edition of Where Amy Ate. We haven’t had one of those in a while, huh? Before I went the one thing everyone kept on telling me about Disneyland Paris was just how expensive it was to eat there. Although I was told the same when I went to Paris and I personally didn’t find it anymore expensive than eating out in London. Anyway, I had prepared myself and now that I’m back I can see that they were both right and wrong.…

The Maison Maille Culinary Blogger Challenge
Back in March I was contacted about a Culinary Challenge hosted by the people over at Maille. They were offering to send bloggers a couple of their products that would be used in original recipes as part of a competition. The winning entry, chosen by a panel of judges, would win a fantastic Food Lover London tour for two, valued at over £390 and the runners up will win a luxury hamper worth over £100. For me, any chance to win a trip to London in relation to food was enough to get my brain whirling with possible winning ideas. So I accepted and it took me a good six…

Where Amy Ate – The City Cafe, Edinburgh
I can’t believe the last Where Amy Ate was my Paris Edition! That shows how little I have been eating out, or at least remembering to take photos when I eat out. With saving like mad so I have a good amount of spending money for my holidays, eating out is now limited to Cafe Nero or the cafe in Asda! And I’m pretty sure neither of them need to be reviewed. I love eating out too, but since i’m going to be eating abroad for 2 weeks of the year, I figured i’ll have lot of places to talk about then. Anyway, last month when the lovely Hayley of…

Twenty Six
As some of you, or perhaps all of you, know that it was my birthday on Friday. For the last few years I’ve had fairly rubbishy birthday so this year when all my friends wanted to make plans with me I was so excited! My twenty fifth year was awful, the worst of my life, so being able to bid it farewell and hello to my new age in such a way was so nice. I ended up having four birthdays in total, or two birthday weekends. My two closest friends from university, Jess & Kariss came up from the 7th-9th and we went out for a meal on the…
