My 6 Most Epic Moments in Peter Jackson’s Middle Earth Universe*
Over the summer the other half and I watched all 6 movies from Peter Jackson’s Middle Earth universe. We watched the three movies based on The Hobbit together and three movies based on The Lord of the Rings while texting each other. It was definitely one of the things that really made me realise how happy I was with my bf, he enjoyed all the geeky things I had to add from reading the books. Although I do love the books more, the movies are enjoyable and definitely a cinematic masterpiece in terms of the cinematography, they’re just beautiful. I saw all 6 of them on the big screen and…

10 Easy Ways to Save Money*
Tomorrow is November, which brings us into what I find the two most expensive months of the year, the run up to Christmas (then I also have Little Miss’ birthday in January!) like the Asda advert constantly reminds us “every little helps” and with Christmas in mind, this is so true. I have to admit, I’m pretty terrible at saving money unless I have a deadline in mind like paying off a holiday. So here are 10 easy ways I use to save money. 1. Check that you’re paying the correct amount for gas & electricity using a website like Compare the Market. Sometimes there are even bonuses available if…

Looking Back on August 2016
Today is the last day of August and Little Miss and I are off on our final adventure before she starts primary school next week. I can’t wait to share it on the blog with you as it’s a big one. That is summer pretty much over now. August has felt both long and short. I went 20 days without seeing my boyfriend right down the middle of the month which was hard. I have als been struggling with the anxiety about Little Miss starting school. The weather however has been beautiful, lots of days in the garden, barbecues and days on the beach. We also fit in seeing Finding…

Finding Dory Giveaway
Last week my mum and I took Little Miss and her cousin to see Finding Dory that was released country wide on the 29th July. I have to admit, I’m not actually a fan of Finding Nemo, I watch it as little as possible (however I love the musical at Animal Kingdom and the ride at Epcot haha) and don’t really encourage LM to watch it either. But I did really enjoy Finding Dory. The supporting characters were so much more interesting this time (especially Hank the octopus!) and I still got my fill of Crush and Squirt. I felt there was a lot more adult humour that went over…

Looking Back on July 2016
Yay, July is just about over. I really did not get on well mentally with July as I wanted, with having 5 weekends and not spending as much time with my boyfriend as I had in May & June I really struggled with feeling lonely, anxiety and paranoia. I saw him the first weekend and as this post goes live I’ll be in the Peak District celebrating his birthday with a weekend break together. I just may be in the private hot tub. I got so used to seeing him all the time that it was a definite shock to the system this month. But hopefully June will be better.…

Metro Radio Arena Disney On Ice Presents Frozen October 2016
As we all know, from the UK the closest Disney park is Disneyland Paris, and although that’s still only just over an hour on the plane, it’s still a fair treck and a lot of money. However, twice a year, arenas around the UK play host to the Disney on Ice spectical! As a child we used to go once a year to bridge the gap between our Disney holidays and Little Miss has been twice already with another trip happening in October straight after our Walt Disney World holiday, so at least we have that to look forward to! In October Disney on Ice will be presenting Frozen! I…
