Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 3 – 1900 Park Fare & Magic Kingdom
Firstly, May the 4th be with you! I’ve celebrated today by watching episodes 4,5,6 with my Star Wars loving dad. Little Miss was also initiated as she joined us to watch The Empire Strikes Back, and I’m happy to report she seemed to join it. I remember being not much older than her and sitting down with my dad to watch Star Wars, my sister and I have always been fans. I hope Little Miss will be the same and enjoy just as much some day especially with the new movies coming out, she’ll be part of a Star Wars generation just as my dad was and I was. ANYWAY,…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 2 – Universal Parks
I’m feeling rather rubbish tonight but I’m trying really hard to stay on top of my blog (even if I’m not on top of everything else) and I managed to nap at my mum’s after dinner so I have no excuse really. So today I’m sharing what I got up to on my second day on holiday in Florida. Although this is all lumped together as our Walt Disney World holiday, on my second day we visited the “other” parks as I really wanted to do The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. So here is what we got up to; Our second morning wasn’t as an early start, I think…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 1 – Magic Kingdom
Finally I’m taking the time to sit down and write all about our holiday to Walt Disney World earlier this month. To be honest it hasn’t been the writing that has been difficult, it’s the choosing which photos to use! This post has 17 photos in, and this was a short day (8am – 6pm). So I apologise that all my holiday diary posts are going to be very photo heavy, but all together I have over 5000 photos from various sources! I’m going to do it like my US diary last summer and share all the photos first, then tell you what we got up to. Little Miss woke…

Disney Magic & The Concept of Paying It Forward
A week ago today we arrived back home from what can only be described as the most magical trip of our life. Yes, there were times that were challenging as you can imagine when you travel alone with a toddler, but on the whole, there was not one moment that I wished away. I didn’t get to do everything I wanted to do due to doing things LM wanted to do instead, but by the end of the holiday I stopped caring what ride we went on or who we queued to meet because every single second was an amazing memory. I’m not sad it’s over, but I won’t lie,…

Walt Disney World Countdown… 0 Days to Go
It’s finally here! Our holiday to Walt Disney World starts today! I was awoken to a very excited little girl jumping at her room gate shouting “Mummy are we going to Disney today?” and for the first time ever I got to shout back “YES!” She has been high as a kite the past two days which has been both wonderful and insanely annoying as i’ve been so busy and so stressed out. Thankfully now she’s sat in the sitting room watching Ratatouille (having already watched Lilo & Stitch and has Cinderella to watch afterwards) so I’m now cracking on with the last minute jobs before my mum comes to…

Walt Disney World Countdown… 10 Days to Go
Well the last 10 days went by super fast! We are now in the home stretch with only 10 days until we fly! Yesterday was actually 10 days until the start of our holiday but I didn’t manage to get the post up last night. To put it into perspective, I’m now closer to my holiday than I am to my birthday and that seems like 5 minutes ago. I’m so afraid next week is going to drag but thankfully i’m going to see Cinderella with Little Miss on Tuesday then to see Wicked with my sister on Thursday, then it’s my dad’s birthday on the Friday. I’m…
