Things I’ve Given Up to Fund my Disney Holiday Addiction
So, we all have addictions. Hobbies we have to fund, or collections we like to add to. For myself (and probably Little Miss) visiting Disney is an addiction for us. I don’t think it would have been this bad if it wasn’t for the fact we have friends out there, it makes it feel like we’re going home to family. I have visited New York, Paris, even Niagara Falls and although I have always enjoyed being there, even felt like I could live there.. I haven’t broke my heart to leave as I do when I leave Disney. It’s a very expensive habit though. Any long haul flight isn’t going…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 10 – Magic Kingdom
Well this post is going live as we’re on our way to the airport hotel. How exciting?! I cannot believe it’s 5 & a half months since we last did this, I also can’t believe it’s taken me 5 months to get my full diary up on the blog! But here we are, the last day! On our last day we were supposed to catch the Disney Magical Express to the airport at 2:30 meaning we’d have to leave the park just after 1pm. I knew I’d feel sad missing Festival of Fantasy so our dear friend Mellie took us to the airport just after 4pm, giving us 3 whole…

A Visit to Lapland*
Recently on Facebook one of my friends asked what age you think it appropriate to take a child to visit Santa Claus in Lapland. For me, it’s very like a Disney holiday as it’s taking your child to see a fictional character they either believe to be real or not. At the moment, LM see’s all Disney characters as the real deal, and I feel if I invested in taking her to see Santa Claus in Lapland she’d feel the same way. Of course, like with a lot of things I read on the internet it got me thinking about the possibility in taking Little Miss on a truly Christmassy…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 9 – Ohana & Magic Kingdom
As you might have guessed, I’m desperately trying to get the last few days from our April trip on the blog before I head off on another one (and then DLP straight after that). I’m now up to our last full day at Walt Disney World where we opted just to spend the day at Magic Kingdom, that was after breakfast at the breathtaking Polynesian Resort. Here is what we got up to, again, it’s photo heavy! We really slept in on our last day due to the fact we had 8am breakfast reservations and we’d been out until after midnight the night before but my whole approach to the…

You might have the most well behaved children in the world, but travelling with them can still be stressful. I hope you find my guide to a stress free trip with your kids useful! Take Lots of Distractions for Them Kids get bored really easily, so the best thing you can do is take lots of distractions for them. They can be used while…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 8 – Hollywood Studios & Magic Kingdom
So, in 24 days we’ll be off back to Florida and I’ve still got another three days of our last trip diary to post. OOPS! Where has the time gone? I’m not sure if anyone will read this, it’s definitely more for my own benefit now so I can look back and compare what we got up to on what days and at what parks as LM grows. I expect every trip to be different so by blogging about each day will be a nice account to keep. I got up to day 8, our second Monday and our second to last full day. We started at Hollywood Studios but…
