Creating a Blog Logo with Logo Joy*
Once upon a time I used to go to events (what, me, socialise? I know, it’s shocking) so I had a business card. Back then I didn’t really need it, I was studying accountancy at college and I wasn’t earning from my blog, just doing it for fun. Oh, how times have changed. In the past year I’ve been working hard on becoming an established writer in the blogging community and now I earn at least half my income a month from my blog, yet my business cards are no more. If I’m planning to get serious I really need to invest in some. And to make some business cards…

World Dream Day with Bush Baby World
The Internet loves a celebration day, doesn’t it? And Monday sees it being World Dream Day. World Dream Day is celebrated on the 25th September and it’s a global day of action dedicated to setting dreams into motion. Dreams play a vital part in our life, the inspire us to push the limits, reach goals and make a better life for ourselves, people we know and the world itself. Everyone has a dream, no matter what age they are. Dream Day is a day for everyone to start pursuing that dream and making it a reality. At the moment LM’s dream is to be some kind of performer, probably at…

Doing London with AttractionTix Big 6 Ticket
Before we headed off to Disneyland Paris last month, LM and I had a day exploring London thanks to AttractionTix. We also took over their Instagram stories for the day which was a lot of fun (until my battery died as we queued for the London eye!) AttractionTix had kindly sent us each their new London Big 6 Ticket, which I mentioned in a post last month, so we could visit some top attractions in the Capital. I’ve mentioned AttractionTix before, but in case you’re not up to speed they’re a great company that offer tickets to big attractions both in the UK and around the world including Disneyland, Walt…

Samsonite Frozen Nordic Summer Duffel Bag Review
If you’re someone who likes to get away as much as possible like me, you’ll know there is nothing better than good luggage. Samsonite is a name you’d associate with good luggage, right? Our main short haul suitcase is this beautiful Minnie Mouse case by Samsonite that I absolutely adore and it’s made travelling to and from Disneyland Paris so much easier. This week we added another piece of Samsonite Disney luggage to our collection, this time in the form of Frozen. You know me, I’m pretty much over Frozen, LM on the other hand is not. She still loves Anna, the songs and loves when she sees Kristoff in…

GiftsOnline4U Personalised Port Gift Set Review
This isn’t the first time i’ve mentioned Christmas on the blog this year and it certainly won’t be the last. This year i’ve vowed to shop small so I’m hopefully going to be sharing some fantastic smaller online retailers on the blog over the next few months. Today I’m starting with GiftsOnline4U who contacted me earlier this month asking if I wanted to review something from their wonderful gift range. Of course I jumped at the opportunity to pick something out for one of my parents who are notoriously hard to buy for. A little background information on GiftsOnline4U, they are an online gift shop with more than 4500 personalised…

My 5 Favourite Chick Lit Authors
I always vow I’m going to blog more about books and reading but I never do. I’m always afraid I’ll give away spoilers if I review anything which is why I’ve decided to share favourite authors today rather than books. So far this year I’ve read 14 books, the last time I read that many books it must have been 2012 so I’m pretty impressed with myself. I’ve been doing a lot of long train journeys and that means I can power through without distractions. My favourite genre of books these days is either Young Adult Fantasy (can’t be bothered with those teen growing pains ones, being an adult is…
