12 Days of Christmas – My 5 Favourite Christmas Movies
One of my favourite things to do at Christmas is to watch festive movies. I don’t keep them out all year around so it means LM pretty much binge watches them all between the end of November and the start of January to get her fill before the go up into the loft for the rest of the year. I also try and pick up some new ones every year so I am slowly building up a collection. In the past LM was more into the Christmas specials of Disney Jr shows such as Mickey Mouse Club House, Handy Manny and Sofia, however this year she’s really enjoyed watching some…

12 Days of Christmas – Christmas Traditions I Love
I can’t believe in 12 days time it’ll be Christmas Day! That’s come around fast. I did originally want to do Blogmas but I’ve been so busy with work, stuff to do with LM and getting ready for Christmas, it just didn’t happen. However, I’ve managed to get enough Christmas content to do 12 Days of Christmas on the blog, starting today with Christmas Traditions I Love. These traditions are exclusive to my little family, we are not religious and although LM looks at the Birth of Jesus at school, and even does a Nativity, she’s well aware it’s simply a story and enjoys it for that. We celebrate Christmas…

5 Ways to Get Your Home to Feel Warm This Christmas*
The last few weeks have been so cold, so cold to the point that even with the heating on in the house I still need a blanket while sat on the sofa. I’m mid terrace so it shouldn’t be that cold, but with the weather dipping below the zero point, we all know winter is well and truly here. Aside form whacking the heating up to full, there are a few other things to do that will help you feel warmer at home this Winter. I popped out to B&M (as I’m now and ambassador, how exciting) and picked up a few Christmassy bits that will help create a warm…

What Will Your Legacy Be?*
You know the saying “YOLO”? It’s cringe worthy, right? But there is some truth behind the “you’ll only live once” concept. You get one life and yes, we all have to work and do house chores, we are tied to responsibilities and life can be a total bitch, but you should also make the very best of it. Go on that holiday, buy that dress, travel around, write that book.. do what you can to make the very best out of this short life. As a mother you don’t want to think about the inevitable but in the same way, you do. You want to make sure you have everything…

5 of the Best Christmas Markets in England*
We’re now into the last three days of November, before the most festive month of the year is upon us. I’m not sure about you but I’m excited (yeah, we have our tree up already!) For me, it isn’t Christmas until I’ve visited a Christmas market and I always try to visit at least a couple a year. But where are the very best ones held? With the help of Stagecoach, who offer cheap bus fares, we look to find some of the most Christmassy markets in Britain. See if your favourite made the list; Newcastle upon Tyne During the time that I went to college and lived in Newcastle,…

Making Goals for 2018*
There are only just over 6 weeks of 2017 left and this hasn’t been my best year with break ups, break downs and no Walt Disney World, it’s time to look forward to 2018 and hope (as I do every year) for a better year. In 2018 I will be turning 30. It doesn’t feel like 5 minutes since it was my 21st birthday but so much has happened in that last 9 years. First and foremost I became a mother, of course that was always in my plans but nearer my late 20s rather than early. I had few serious boyfriends and one terrible break up. I went to…
