Berwick Food & Beer Festival September 2014
Usually I’m someone who is very much “Oh we did this last week” or “we did this the other day” but today I’m actually sharing a post about what I did, today! This is a rarity but as I’m still under the weather I wanted to share photographs rather than a lot of text. This weekend in my hometown, it’s my favourite festival, the Food and Beer Festival. Of course, beer & ale I can leave but they also have loads of local produce and possibly my favourite drink for the summer, strawberry cider. It’s also my dad’s favourite festival, and after today, possibly Little Miss’ too! So of course…

Outfit of the Day – Hey Mama Welcome to the Sixties
JD Williams kindly got in touch and asked me to take part in their Classic or Contemporary campaign. They gave me the chance to pick a couple of items from their website that are a style from another decade that have recently come back into fashion. My first thought was the 20s, 40s or 50s as that’s the style of clothing I usually go for in my day to day however as soon as I saw the collar on the swing dress, I knew it was the one and that my outfit would be 60s inspired. Although fashion wise I’m definitely drawn mainly to the 20s and 50s, I am…

25th August – If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It
Originally this was going to be the last post from my trip, however once I started editing the photos I realised there was going to be way too many in one post. So this is actually the penultimate Travel Diaries post. On the Monday Namu, her friend Darian (a girl I’ve met once before) and I had booked to take a bus trip up to Niagara Falls. When I was looking into going I didn’t actually realise that it’s actually an 8 hour drive, yet still in the same state as New York City! That really shows you just how vast the country is when one state is the size…

Puddle Pug by Kim Norman Review
It’s very rare that I ever get asked to review something for Little Miss since I’m not exclusively a parenting blogger & I don’t share a million photos of my beautiful child. So when the chance came along to review a new book for children, this wasn’t an opportunity I was going to turn down. “Percy the Pug loves puddles: big puddles, small puddles, swamp puddles, stomp puddles. But no puddle is perfect, until he finds one with three friendly piglets. But protective Mama Pig says NO PUGS and chases Percy away! Irresistibly illustrated by Keika Yamaguchi, Kim Norman’s tale about a persistent pug and his pursuit of friendship in…

USA Travels Haul
I have one final post to do about my trip, and I think I’m putting off doing it because a) it’s long as it’s all my photos from my Niagara Falls tour, and b) because after it’s done it’ll really feel like my holiday is behind me! So instead, I’m going to share with your some snaps of what I treated myself to. ‘Cause let’s face it, it’s not a holiday without some shopping! This is purely my own “personal” haul. I also bought gifts for Little Miss and my family to say thank you for looking after her for me. I also did a fair bit of Christmas shopping,…

The Glitterati with Crown & Glory September 2014
Earlier on in the week, I received this months Glitterati Box from Crown & Glory. The little “secret” Facebook group had been a buzz with excitement and from the 2nd on we’ve all been sharing the contents of our boxes. I’d like to add a note in here that the girls on the group are all LOVELY, so supportive and it’s a great way to swap for pieces that you feel will suit you more, which is important because these are blind boxes. Last month I swapped my small purple Not A Lotta Rosie for a Whole Lotta Rosie in mint which is much more my style. However, this month…
