Ariel iPhone 6 Case by OnlyCases
Ariel iPhone 6 Case £10.15, Etsy Finally this morning my new iPhone 6 case arrived and I’m so in love with it that I simply had to share it tonight. I got my iPhone the day they were released last month. I had an iPhone 5 that had slowly started to function less about July, pretty much to the week it was due for an upgrade. I’d had it two years and it had taken a good battering as phones belong to mothers of children do. And the fact, I’m clumsy. Even though I was due an upgrade in July, I decided to wait it out for new model, and…

26th August – To Infinity and Beyond
I feel bloody terrible for leaving my last Travel Diary entry this long! It’s been nearly two months since I first headed east to my favourite place in the world and my diary entries have been sporadic to say the least. It’s heartbreaking to put this to bed as I have most definitely had the blues since I came back despite having a holiday already booked for 6 months time! There was such a huge build up to this, that I have felt so flat and seriously home-sick for all things…

Cake That! Showstopper – Chess Cake with Chocolate Ganache Filling & Vanilla Meringue Frosting
In my Technical Challenge for Cake That! I came runner up. Since that was probably the best cake I’ve ever made, I knew I had to up my game for the showstopper. I came up with loads of different ideas, using various techniques, colours, tastes and layers but I wanted something that would show some more skill which is why I’ve gone for this cake. Once i’d set my mind to it, I was determined to pull it off. This cake has had a lot of learning curves, in fact I made the frosting three times this week before I deemed it edible and I have had to pretty much…

ALL LINKS REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE I’m kinda going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment which makes me sort of shy away from my blog. When I come out the other end I may even write about it.. That’s what I usually do anyway. You may have to bare with me and my sporadic uninteresting posts for a wee while until I get my head straight. So this evening, because I have nothing better to do, I’m sharing my Hot Topic haul with you all. No this isn’t what I bought while out in the US back in August, this is the one…
