Insta-Month March
Little Miss modelling for Princess and the Frock // A day in York with Fabia & Della // Sunny Spring Days My twenty seventh birthday // Watching the Solar Eclipse // Practicing Messy Hair Braids Elsa has become a pro at creeping // Pre-Holiday Hair Dye // Seeing CinderellaThe highlights were… My birthday as I spent it at my best friend Bee‘s house with my friends and Little Miss. We went to Damon’s for an early dinner then spent the evening drinking frozen cocktails and playing Cards Against Humanity. I loved it! Little Miss also did her first ever bit of modelling for Princess and the Frock (which was yesterday’s…

The Princess and the Frock Fairytale Collection
At the end of last year, Claire who owns The Princess and the Frock asked if Little Miss could be the face of her new collection that would be launching in the Spring. Having just had LM’s photographs taken professionally for the first time and seeing how at ease she was with it all, I happily agreed. I want to say that I have never been a mother who pushed for her daughter to do modelling. I personally believe that LM is the most beautiful toddler in the world as that’s my prerogative as a mother. But I won’t lie, I do have that terrible worry that people look at…

Walt Disney World Countdown… 10 Days to Go
Well the last 10 days went by super fast! We are now in the home stretch with only 10 days until we fly! Yesterday was actually 10 days until the start of our holiday but I didn’t manage to get the post up last night. To put it into perspective, I’m now closer to my holiday than I am to my birthday and that seems like 5 minutes ago. I’m so afraid next week is going to drag but thankfully i’m going to see Cinderella with Little Miss on Tuesday then to see Wicked with my sister on Thursday, then it’s my dad’s birthday on the Friday. I’m…

Personal Style – The Dream That You Wish Will Come True
I have to admit, that unlike my other Disney Personal Style posts, I did not wear this dress all day. Mainly because I’m trying to get down my washing and I’d be afraid I wouldn’t get this washed and ironed in time to take it with me! I cannot believe I go in 12 days, TWELVE DAYS! I’m able to now say to Little Miss that we’re going on holiday NEXT WEEK! My threats to get her to stop misbehaving sound more real when I say “stop that or you won’t go to Disney next week” rather than just tagging on “soon” to the end. I’m onto the washing and…

A Day in the Life, March 2015
This is my third month of doing my A Day in the Life series and for some reason it’s getting harder to remember to take the blooming photos! I ended up using my SLR and my phone as when I went out I left my camera at my mum’s, DOH! This month I documented a weekend day. It ended up being a slightly unusual weekend due to the fact my dad is working away so he didn’t come home as usual on Friday. Plus me mum was having a fundraiser for the pre-school is runs, so I guess it’s a little more interesting than it could have been! …

A Restaurant Pop Up with an Interesting Twist*
Restaurant pop ups are a relatively new concept in the UK, a new and exciting prospect in my opinion but they have existed for much longer in the US. In case you’re not down with the foodie lingo, a restaurant pop up is basically a restaurant that “pops up from nowhere” to put it simply. They’re usually temporary and quite often have a theme. They usually operate during festivals (like The Fringe in Edinburgh or during Gay Pride in various cities, or even over Christmas or the summer period). Sometimes their in a private home, or a disused warehouse and they’re definitely most popular in large cities such as London…
