Things I’m Looking Forward to in Walt Disney World Oct 2016
With less than 6 weeks to go until Walt Disney World October 2016 I’m into crazy planning mode for our trip. The spreadsheet is updated daily, the outfits are being planned and I’m already dreaming of red velvet Mickey cake pops, so I feel it’s time to share with you all what I’m really looking forward to doing while we’re out there in October. As we’re staying on site for the full two weeks there will be a lot of Disney, in fact, every day will be Disney and I’m so ready. Staying at Old Key West This time we’re staying at what is classed as a delux villa resort.…

Parenting Content // Limiting Kid’s Screen Time*
Why it is Vital That a Parent Limit a Child’s Use of Technology Technology is everywhere and there is certainly no stopping progress in our, “always wanting more,” society, but with younger and younger kids being given cell phones, it makes it seem as though parents are simply giving into the demands of their kids to make them happy. Parenting is not nor ever has it been about making kids happy. They come into this world not knowing anything. It is the parent’s job to ensure that the child learns about the world in the best way possible. We as parents have to do more to ensure that our children…

My 5 Favourite Character Meet Memories from Disneyland Paris
What’s that, another Disneyland Paris post? I found a list of topics I’d wrote about 6 months ago so I figured I’d revisit them before my blog ends up turbo Walt Disney World content when I return in October. For us, a huge part of our trip is meeting characters. Little Miss is still at that age where it’s all so real and magical that meeting her heroes is a huge deal. Although as she gets older rides are becoming a bigger part of our day, she’s still more likely to queue for a length of time to meet someone over a ride. So today I thought I’d share my…

Life Content // Divorce In Numbers*
Being someone in my late 20s, hurtling headlong into my 30s (eek!) of course the idea of marriage has crossed my mind a few times (a lot of times, since I was like 9, not even going to lie about this). However as yet, I haven’t taken the plunge due to many reasons. But do you want to know what’s sad? People who’s wedding I attended in our early 20s have already started to get divorced. Not all of them, but a few and I didn’t realise just how much cost goes into it! I’ve broken up with guys and moved out, and that’s costly enough (throw in a couple…

6 Things I Love About Autumn at Disneyland Paris
– Obviously not the weather! It’s so hard right now to make yourself stand out in the sea of Disney bloggers and youTubers. I don’t have an Annual Pass to any parks, I don’t vlog but I have been so desperate for this niche of blogging that it’s really hard right now being so invisible. So today I’ve set aside all the work I have to do, and posts I have to write to write something I want to write (that’s a lot of “write”s in one sentence!) which is why I love Autumn at Disneyland Paris. Unfortunately this year we won’t make it for Autumn and Halloween, we’re in…

Finding Dory Giveaway
Last week my mum and I took Little Miss and her cousin to see Finding Dory that was released country wide on the 29th July. I have to admit, I’m not actually a fan of Finding Nemo, I watch it as little as possible (however I love the musical at Animal Kingdom and the ride at Epcot haha) and don’t really encourage LM to watch it either. But I did really enjoy Finding Dory. The supporting characters were so much more interesting this time (especially Hank the octopus!) and I still got my fill of Crush and Squirt. I felt there was a lot more adult humour that went over…
