Event Coming Up? Feel Fashion Forward*
There have been a lot of fabulous trends in 2016, and now you have an important event coming up and need a killer outfit.
So here’s some reminders of the best ensembles. Maybe you will get inspired by something!
Choker Tops and Dresses
These have been seen on some many celebs like Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid. They have become very popular and are bound to stay around for a while. They come in all different materials and colours, so you’re not short of choice. Pair the top with jeans and some ankle boots to give you that grunge look. Or mix it up with the dress by adding some pointed stilettos. This look goes wonderfully with a darker bold lip.
Low Cut Jumpsuit
These were spotted on the red carpet a lot in the Summer showcasing an array of greens, oranges, yellows and a lot of reds. Olivia Wilde and Rita Ora have been seen wearing this style. Now the Winter’s here there are a lot more blacks and burgundy out.
Slick your hair back in a tight, low ponytail to add some drama. You can even add a heavy cat eye to make it extra dramatic.
Mesh
Mesh is back with a bang! Celebrities such as Kylie and Kendall Jenner have been spotted wearing black long sleeved, mesh tops. Accompanied with black leather trousers and a stiletto heel.
You can stay simple, or dress it up by adding a diamond choker and matching drop earrings.
Shirt Dress
In the Summer these were seen a lot in linen and light denim. It gave it a very soft, floaty look. You can add a thick belt around your waist to cut it up if you want more of an edge like Vanessa Hudgens did. Now the weather’s cooling down, think about putting it with some over the knee, leather boots. It’ll keep your legs warm and look hot.
Thigh High Boots
These have been around forever, but really made a hit on the scene this year. Everyone are wearing these, mostly in suede, but in a whole variety of colours. The most common though are black, grey and camel. You can wear them over jeans, with shorts, skirts and dresses. You can’t really do wrong with these. Whether it’s a stiletto heel or a mid – low platform; you can dress it up or down by showing more skin on the top of your thigh or hiding it.
Two-Piece
Two-pieces vary from a skirt and crop top to more of a sporty lingerie. If you want to go for the more glam look, go for the skirt, the more figure hugging – the better. These show off your curves better than a magnifying glass. Colour really depends on what you’re in the mood for, so pick whatever makes you feel good.
The two-piece lingerie look isn’t really to wear out, but it’s not an intimate negligee either. It’s more of a work out gear that shows – a lot. However you choose to wear it, just know that Instagram has an open spot for you.
