5 NYC Tourist Hot Spots Worth a Visit*
You might remember that a couple of weeks ago I shared My 5 Must Dos in New York City? And I thought today I would expand on that since I’m still really missing the Big Apple. Not all the places I listed were particularly tourist for people having that “one off” trip. So today I’m elaborating on that sharing my 5 favourite tourist hot spots of the many that are on Manhattan and the immediate surrounding area. Despite having had three trips I still haven’t visited them all, but in my opinion these 5 are worth a visit. The great thing about visiting NYC is that there are passes available…

My 5 Must Dos in New York City
I’ve been lucky enough to visit New York City three times in the last eight years and now that LM is older I’m definitely getting the ache to go back. It’s one of my favourite places in the world, somewhere I feel completely at home. There really is no city like it, there are so many different worlds all on island, it’s crazy. The last time I visited was now almost three years ago (believe me it feels longer) which is probably why I’m starting to miss the place like crazy and since it’s been a while since I did a blog post about somewhere other than the UK or…

Summer Travel Planning.. Where, When, What, How
So this is my very last post in regards to the trip I took to the States back in August. It was a once in a life time trip thanks to the competition I won in association with Travel Supermarket back in August 2013. Even though I had the money in my pocket, because I had so much I wanted to do I had to make sure I was still savvy when booking things. I travelled from London to Washington DC to New York to Niagara Falls to New Jersey then back to London. In 10 days. I stayed in lovely hotels, ate good food, spent time with some awesome…

24th August – A Whole New World
On Sunday the 24th, I had until 3pm to myself so I’d penciled in more sightseeing in NYC. First I had to get up relatively early to switch hotels. The one I stayed in Friday & Saturday was sold out for Sunday so I’d booked a Hilton, and if i’m honest, I wish I’d just stayed there the whole time. For £70 a night I got a corner room on the top floor with the most amazing view of the Empire State and the New Yorker! It was breath taking, it was no wonder Namu & I slept that night with the curtains open! So after I’d dropped my case…

#183 Travel Supermarket Holiday Postcards Competition
Up on the border of Scotland it’s cool, windy and grey today, very miserable and not at all fun when everyone (including my parents) are sharing their summer holiday snaps all over the Internet! On the 1st September it will be THREE years since I last ventured abroad! And although I was lucky enough to have two short breaks within this country with Little Miss last summer, one to Scarborough and one to Cornwall, the weather was dreadful for both! Rain & wind are no fun for a small baby and incredibly stressful for her mum! So when I had an email through telling me about a competition that Travel…
