Where Amy Ate – The Botanist, Newcastle
A few weeks back when we went adventuring to Newcastle, we had lunch in The Botanist on our second day. Prior to setting out I had googled “Places to Eat in Newcastle with Kids” and I came across a post by Samantha of North East Family Fun that helped me decide on The Botanist. I’d already heard some great stories about it from my non parent friends but I wasn’t sure it would be child friendly, how wrong was I? Pommito Mocktail Recipe
We’re slowly inching to what should be the summer months, June, July and August although so far we haven’t seen much heat! However, I remain ever hopeful and it hasn’t stopped me preparing for summer as far as every day life goes. Having never heard of them before, I did my good research and discovered that Root 7 is a kitchen and barware company based in London. I can never turn down a chance to review a new gadget for the kitchen, even better if it’s something that uses alcohol, so here we have my review for the Vodka Zinger. The…

Cocktail Candle in Mojito Review
When asked by I Want One of Those if I wanted to review one of their Cocktail Candles, I was so incredibly excited. My blog is of course called Cocktails in Teacups, so I obviously do like to drink them (how stupid would it be if I didn’t?!) and I was even more excited to learn they had a mojito candle, which is actually my cocktail of choice. It arrived in a nice box, which of course instantly made me think how great a gift it would make (also so easy to wrap!) although I had it out in no time and it took pride of place on my fireplace.…
