Must Fastpass Rides at Walt Disney World for Under 5s*

    August 1, 2016 /

So far, every trip I’ve taken to Walt Disney World as an adult has been with my under 5 year old. Our first visit Little Miss had barely turned three when we went and still she managed to do so much! This is why in the old debate of “how young is too young for a Disney holiday?” (it’s a real debate, look it up) in my personal opinion and experience, if your kid is of a good temperament, go from an age where they can really experience the magic. Little Miss went to Disneyland Paris at two and she loved it, she probably would have loved it at the…

    Looking Back on July 2016

    July 31, 2016 /

Yay, July is just about over. I really did not get on well mentally with July as I wanted, with having 5 weekends and not spending as much time with my boyfriend as I had in May & June I really struggled with feeling lonely, anxiety and paranoia. I saw him the first weekend and as this post goes live I’ll be in the Peak District celebrating his birthday with a weekend break together. I just may be in the private hot tub. I got so used to seeing him all the time that it was a definite shock to the system this month. But hopefully June will be better.…

Travel Content // Sightseeing in San Diego: Organizing the Perfect Trip*

    July 30, 2016 /

Sometimes, you want to explore a new place as slowly as possible. You can take the time to wander the streets and duck into any restaurant or store that looks interesting. However, you don’t always have time to do that. Sometimes you only have a short amount of time through circumstance or you might plan a day trip. If you want to get a quick glimpse of a city or region, a sightseeing tour is a perfect way to take in all the highlights. San Diego in California has a lot to offer, and you can plan the ideal trip there, whether it’s for your family, church group, or friends.…

Lifestyle Content // How To Choose The Correct Bedding For Your Comfort*

    July 29, 2016 /

It is sadly too often that people choose not to put in a lot of effort when they are purchasing their bedding sets. The bed is the greatest source of rest we will ever have in our lives, and the quality of our sleep (which determines our energy, moods and health) is heavily dependent on it. If there are just a few things on life we should splurge on, our bedding and doona quilts should be among them. This decision will deeply reflect into so many aspects of our lives. In an increasingly busy world, sleep is even more valuable than it was before, and it’s incredibly important that our…

Exploring the North East – Barter Books

    July 27, 2016 /

At the moment Little Miss and I have a friend from the US staying with us meaning we’ve been off on adventures every single day. She’s an Anglophile and love all things quintessentially British which is great because I live in a rather historic part of town. We’ve walked miles every day and my legs are aching but it’s been great and I’ve really enjoyed being a tourist in the county I call home. I don’t plan on staying here forever, so it’s been great letting Little Miss explore! Yesterday we took a bus down to the historic market town of Alnwick to Barter Books. This is somewhere I’ve wanted…

My Geek Box Kids Little Princess Subscription Box Review July 2016

    July 26, 2016 /

Last week I had a bit of a surprise when I opened the door to the mail man and he was standing with another My Geek Box for Little Miss! I hadn’t ordered a second but I loved that we got one anyway and it came perfectly timed with her last day at pre-school making it a fab treat! When I had a peak inside (as at first I wasn’t sure which My Geek Box it was as they do a selection) just to make sure it was the My Geek Box Kids Little Princess subsciption box* as that would be the one most appealing to Little Miss, and much…
