Outfit of the Day – Orange County Girl
As you’re aware, I’m not an Orange County girl, in fact I usually don’t like orange, but I do like terracotta or burnt orange. I’m picky like that! But anyway, I was just looking for some song lyrics with orange in when I came across this Gwen Stafani one and I just HAD to listen to her on Spotify. I love Gwen, and I love No Doubt. And so it was decided that this post would be called as such. Glamorous Lace Skater Dress (ancient), Thrifted Black 3/4 Length Sleeve Top £7.99, H&M Woodland Copse Floral Crown in Rust £15, Crown and Glory Belt (from another dress), Primark Black Tights…

February Reads
I’m quite impressed with how well I’m keeping up with this whole reading thing. Another four books read this year, that’s seven now and I’m almost finished The Great Gatsby so that’ll be eight, only two away from how many books I read in 2013. No wonder I made this unofficial resolutions to read more for 2014! The only problem is that now I feel the need to buy more books. My basket on Amazon is filled with bargain books from the marketplace (anyone else love that for cheap DVDs and books or is it just me?) My to read shelf is pretty full but every time I finish one…

Canvas Design Review*
Since getting my own place last July, I’ve been desperately trying to put my own stamp on it. This is the first house I’ve ever had that isn’t shared with flatmates or a guy so everything I choose to have, is my decision. It’s been an exciting journey that is by no means over, I still have carpets i’d like to replace, walls to paint and furniture to buy. But my favourite part is the personal touches. I love picking out photo frames, art for the walls, vases and ornaments, it’s the bits like that that really make the place yours. So when the chance came up to have one…

Mr Nutcase Personalised Phone Case Review
I have such a busy day with Little Miss today. We were out the house by ten and walking into town since the sun was shining for once. We spent a few hours trailing the shops, Little Miss wanted her cereal bars, she also needed more pull ups. I wanted to look around the charity shops for the rest of my outfit for my birthday Murder Mystery, and thankfully I did get everything woo! We had lunch in an old fish and chip shop since I’m pretty broke this week. It was Little Miss’ first experience of seaside chips and she seemed to enjoy them. Then we came home for…

Outfit of the Day – Lucky Denver Mint
Wow, it’s really been ages since I did an outfit post, so much for my resolution to do them weekly! I put it down to the bad weather, having the flu and Little Miss being under the weather. But I’m back today with one. I wanted to share the beautiful French Connection dress I received that I plan to wear out to dinner when the girls come visit me the week before my birthday. The sun was out this morning when I took these photos and it made me feel so happy, like perhaps this dreadful weather wasn’t going to last forever and eventually we’ll have Spring. This dress really…

Neal and Wolf Ritual Daily Cleansing Shampoo & Conditioner Review
I took a night off from blogging last night as I just wanted to chill out, watch stuff on my iPad and eat Chinese take out. I feel no guilt in doing this once and a while especially when I’m as tired as I am at the moment. Who knew sleeping through the night was more exhausting than being awake all night?! I think it’s purely down to the fact Little Miss is so active these days that by the time I put her to bed at 7pm I’m ready to go to bed. I’ll hopefully feel different when the weather improves. Anyway, enough with my moany introduction, today I’m…
