Outfit of the Day – Golden Afternoon
For some reason, today when I was taking my outfit of the day photos I had Golden Afternoon from Alice in Wonderland stuck in my head. I don’t know if it’s because the flowers on my dress made me think of the talking flowers in the movie, or because I was wearing my new Disney Couture Alice in Wonderland inspired necklace. But then again, I often feel like Alice, so maybe it just happened to be one of those days! Denim Jacket (last year), Primark Stella Floral Skater Dress* £12.99, UGGBUGG Disney Couture Drink Me Necklace, Trade on Depop White Socks £1.99, Primark Jelly Shoes £4, Primark Red Satchel…

Brand of the Month – Cath Kidston
It’s been ages since I shared a Brand of the Month post, and by the title it should technically be bi-monthly but more often than not I have loads of other things to write about so this series gets forgotten. This month however I placed a pretty big order with Cath Kidston and I figured sharing that, as well as some other Cath Kidston goodies I own warranted it being BOTM. My love affair with Cath Kidston products has been going on for years, however it wasn’t until a couple of years back was I lucky enough to own some from the range. This is mainly due to money, and…

Outfit of the Day – She Doesn’t Even Go Here!
I know we’ve already had an outfit of the day this week but my sister is coming over for take out pizza and these are the only photos I have ready to make a post from! I’m really looking forward to pizza and hopefully my sister’s boyfriend has offered to babysit long enough for us to watch a movie because I have the second Thor film ready and waiting. Today’s outfit is featuring a sweater that I received for my birthday from one of my best friends, Jess. Hayley also bought it for me but she ended up keeping hers so I didn’t end up with two! All I…

Easter Crafting for Kids with Hobbycraft
Easter Craft Pack c/o Hobby Craft Felt Bunny Baskets c/o Hobby Craft Little Miss insisted we donate the blue one to her cousin. Not because blue is for boys, but because pink is her favourite colour. As I mentioned in my blog post about activities to keep your children busy over Easter, crafting was one of my suggestions. This was based on the fact I had this Easter activity kit hidden away to do on some rainy afternoon, and that rainy afternoon ended up being today. Hobbycraft kindly sent me some bits and pieces from their Easter range, these along with some stuff I’d also picked up from…

Outfit of the Day – Spring Has NOT Sprung
Although pretty much everywhere else in the country is experience warmer temperatures and glorious sunshine, up here in the forgotten lands it has been very cold, very damp and very misty. Tragic. After buying a whole new Spring wardrobe last month (still no regrets) I’m having to come up with outfits that still use my beautiful new clothes, but are combined with my old faithfuls I’ve been wearing over the winter. Just because it doesn’t feel like Spring, doesn’t mean I don’t want to look like Spring! I guess the weather reflects the week i’m having. I’ve cried more this week than I have over the whole year so far.…

March Reads
Three months in and another three books read! I’m really impressed with last months reading because i’ve been so busy with everything that I really have had little time to myself, especially to read. However I did managed to finish off The Great Gatsby that I started last month, then follow it up with two books by Rainbow Rowell, an author I only discovered due to receiving Eleanor & Park for my birthday from Kariss. I haven’t started anything else since finishing Fangirl but I’ve ended up buying a lot of books last month, whoops so I better crack on with it. Hopefully April is going to be much quieter…
