12 Months of Little Miss
And thus my round up posts begin. Today I’m starting with a picture from each of the past 12 months of Little Miss. I would say this is the year she transitioned fully from a baby to a little girl. She started to learn to write her own name, she became fully toilet trained even on holiday, her speech and understanding of the world came on leaps and bounds. She started to develope a real personality with her own likes and dislikes. She got her first crush, she made some real friends and she fell completely in love with Disney World. Fun Things To Do With Younger Children*
There are a lot of things that I have learnt since becoming a mother. There are two things that stand out to me, though. One is patience and knowing that one little person is completely dependent on me. It can be quite an overwhelming thought when I say it like that! The other thing that stands out to me is that time flies. It zooms by and I can hardly believe it. Little Miss’ Christmas Eve Box
So tomorrow is the start of a very chaotic three days so tonight I’ve been chilling with a class of raspberry vodka & lemonade while watching Man Finds Food. I’ve also been clearning my phone memory and my memory cards so I’m ready to take as many photos as I can (or at least as I remember to). It really is the calm before the storm. One thing I’ve done this evening is put together Little Miss’ Christmas eve box, a tradition I started last year. Festive Things to Do with Kids Before Christmas
Yesterday Little Miss broke up for 2 weeks over Christmas, which of course, I’m used to. However this year she has 6 full days before the big day itself. For a little three year old, that’s a lot of time to fill when you’re waiting for Christmas and now that she knows she doesn’t go back to school until it’s over, she’s hyper and bored. Since her birthday is in January she hasn’t really had anything new to play with since then. She’s read all her books, filled all her colouring pages, she knows how to do all her jigsaws like the back of her hand. The playdoh has dried…

LM’s Fav Christmas Books
In our house we don’t have Christmas books & DVDs available all year around, they get packed away with the Christmas tree meaning that when I put the tree up LM is able to get them out. This stops me getting too annoyed when I have to read or watch them over and over again during the Christmas period. Every year I add a few more of each to our collection. Sing Along Elsa Review*
Last week Santa Claus paid an early visit to Little Miss! Because she’d been so good this year, Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves left a little present under the tree for LM as a special extra. She was so excited to find it was the Sing Along With Elsa doll she’d recently seen on the TV!
