Disneyland Paris – Cafe Mickey Dinner Sitting Review
Today I’m reviewing Cafe Mickey in the Disney Village at the Disneyland Paris resort. I did a poll and it turns out this is what people were most interested in reading so here we are. Little Miss and I have eaten here twice, and since the menu upgrade this is now my favourite place to eat on property. We ate way back in May 2014 when we visited with my mum and again in October 2015. Although I have used photos from both visits, I will be reviewing the restaurant based on our trip last October as it includes the menu that is now in operation. As I mentioned above,…

Meal Ideas for Under 5s – Lettuce Wraps
Remember that time my 4 year old ate everything I put in front of her? No.. me either. That hasn’t happened since she learnt how to say no! Don’t get me wrong, her diet isn’t all junk food, in fact she eats more fruit a day than I do, she just has what I’d call a limited diet. I call it a limited diet because she likes the same few meals on rotation and is wary about trying anything new. It’s so frustrating for someone like me who wants to experiment in the kitchen. However, while in Florida one of my mum friends Emily had a bit of a breakthrough.…

Spanish Street Food Recipes
Did you know that a quarter of people book their holiday based on the food available? I can quite believe it because I have to be honest and say I’m one of those people. One of the reasons I do love to frequent the US so often is because I love what they have available. Okay, so in the long run it may kill me faster as food Stateside is renowned for being a lot more unhealthy than what we have over but, who cares? It tastes so good! I also love visiting France for all the bakery and patisserie, and I adore the Mediterranean fare of Greece. I am…

Where Amy Ate – NYC Bar & Grill, Bawtry
Although my main reason for a child free weekend at Bee‘s was to go to SFCC when she posted about visiting NYC Bar & Grill last week I really wanted to go! With it’s New York theming, fantastic burgers and delicious looking cocktails Bee didn’t take any convincing into a girls dinner on the Friday I was there. It has been YEARS since the two of us went out for dinner together just the two of us, I think the last time was probably when we went to London together when I was 20! Nowadays we always have at least one or all three of our kids, or sometimes Bee’s…

#Travelodgefoodies – Parmo Recipe, A Taste of the North East
A long time ago (well that’s how it feels now), I lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I spent two years there after I’d finished uni working as a barmaid and then a waitress. I loved my time there, Newcastle is city steeped in heritage, a great place to shop and a fantastic night out. I have fantastic memories of these nights out, when I was young and stupid and didn’t come home until dawn. But a night out in Newcastle was never complete without a parmo to eat drunkenly while sat on a kitchen floor. A parmo with extra cheesy chips, there is nothing I loved more while completely intoxicated…

Trialling the Exante Diet & Toning Up Those Arms
So I’ve been trying to diet for like a month now, and I’ve been failing. It just seems to be everyone’s birthday or everyone suggests take away or I just want to eat my weight in chocolate. It’s like I’ve lost all my willpower despite knowing i’m off on holiday in 2 months and last time around I hated every single photo of myself. Well, I hated my arms. They just look huge in comparison to my body. Although I have bought dresses that cover my arms for this trip, I still want to loose a bit of weight and I have decided to do a bit of toning up..…
