Memory Book
Making treasured memories are special but sometimes keeping those memories alive and safe can be hard, which is why keeping them safe in something like a memory book is a great idea; moreover, it can be an incredibly thoughtful gift to give to your child for any occasion as these memory books will be treasured forever.

There are few things that are nicer to receive than a collage of treasured memories, because not only does it show that these moments are meaningful to you, but it gives you both a chance to reminisce.

In addition to photographs, you can keep old tickets, school performance programs, receipts, or packing from magical moments and keep them all together in a safe place until you make your scrapbook.  Another nice touch, is to include a few written stores that describe a fond memory. Everyone likes to feel special and significant; this is a very cost effective way to achieve that.

A Trip
Arranging a trip away doesn’t have to break the bank. With many airlines having frequent sales there are many budget flights available to many magical places.  Indeed, as a child, sometimes there’s nothing more exciting than packing the car with a tent, an air bed, and some blankets then heading for a camping adventure.  Indeed, when you think back to your own childhood it’s often the experiences you had more so than the things you were bought that mean the most to you.

A Special Playlist
With many music streaming applications out there, there is no need to rush out and buy a MP3 player to make a playlist. Head over to something like spotify or amazon music and put together a playlist of songs that they’ll love.  Then, help them learn to explore music and develop their own taste using features such as “related artists”.

Something Useful
The majority of people like to receive something they ‘want’ rather than something they ‘need’; particularly when it comes to children.  However, if you get something practical that facilitates them being able to do something they long to do – this becomes very meaningful and caring.  Again, it doesn’t have to cost much money – but by noticing and respecting their world, showing them that they matter, and wanting to help them do the things they want to do can be a much more meaningful way to express care than buying something fancy.
