UK Coffee Week 11th – 17th April*
It’s come to my attention that this week is Coffee Week! It runs from 11th – 17th April 2016 and is in aid of helping countries such as Rwanda and Ethiopia thrive through the growing coffee culture. As someone who’s diet consists of a lot of coffee (hello insomnia!) I felt it was a duty to bring your attention to this! UK Coffee Week is a nationwide fundraising event that helps give back to the countries that grow our coffee by providing them with fresh safe drinking water, something in the UK we’re all blessed to have access to. All the funds raised this week go to Project Waterfall. You can find out how you can still get involved through either of the websites.
In conjunction with UK Coffee Week I have a fun infographic to share with you all today filled with fun facts about coffee drinking in the UK. I’m someone who is blessed to have a coffee machine in my own home, which is great because the nearest Starbucks is a good hour drive away from me. And lets not even talk about how much I’m missing my Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla iced latte today! But hey, I do feel incredibly blessed that I live in a place where I have fresh water to make my precious coffee. Lets hope this UK Coffee Week can give that luxury to more.
