Finding the Magic of a Moment*
Does anyone else find that a holiday goes by way faster than the time you spend leading up to the holiday? I have an app on my phone where I put all holidays or adventure dates into so when LM asks how long to go I can show her the numbers going down. But they go down so slow compared to the 3, 10, 14 or even 28 days a trip lasts (we did 28 days in Florida March 2016 and it still went by so much faster than the 28 days prior to us leaving). Then you come home and feel sad that the trip is over. Those holiday…

Where in the World? – Hawaii*
Did you know that January is the time of year that most holidays are booked? I can’t say I’m guilty of that as I prefer Black Friday, but my parents always book their summer get away in January, and the real reason isn’t that all the travel agents seem to be offering all their best deals for packages. The weather is cold and everyone is coming down from their Christmas buzz, it’s time to get something else to look forward to. On this cold and wet Monday I’m currently dreaming of Hawaii. It’s somewhere that lives near the top of my travel wish list and not just because Little Miss…

Travel Blogger Must Haves*
I have to admit, the travel aspect of my blog is my absolute favourite. I love writing about adventures I’ve had, both alone and with LM. Although I don’t adventure half as much as I’d like, and these days all the Disney aspects of our adventures are on Livvy Bird Adventures, it’s still an important part of this blog. Be it day dreaming about places I want to visit, plans for days out or simply a travel related wish list, I’m never going to stop talking about travelling. I guess once LM is older I am hoping to visit more n0n-Disney places and once again it’ll be a main feature…

Where in the World? – Thailand*
The world is filled with so many “bucket list” places and none more so than Thailand. It’s the ultimate paradise destination and I know people of all ages who want to or who have visited from elderly couples, to families and of course the young crowds who want to experience those epic moonlight parties where your alcohol comes in a beach bucket. In the past Thailand was the true backpacker destinations. It wasn’t commercialised and it was quite difficult to reach, but as the tourist has grown, visiting Thailand is becoming more doable and more affordable which means more people are able to cross it off their bucket list. Today…

What To Do When Your Flight is Delayed*
It’s every travellers’ worst nightmare… you arrive at the airport only discover that your flight has been delayed… And, with some flights being delayed for several hours, it can be difficult to fill in your time as you await more information about your flight in the terminal. Flight delays are not uncommon in airports in all corners of the world, and they can be frustrating and infuriating for travellers, especially those who have a connecting flight to catch or an important event to attend when they reach their final destination. But, rather than driving yourself crazy with worry or rage, there are lots of things you can do in the…

Doing London with AttractionTix Big 6 Ticket
Before we headed off to Disneyland Paris last month, LM and I had a day exploring London thanks to AttractionTix. We also took over their Instagram stories for the day which was a lot of fun (until my battery died as we queued for the London eye!) AttractionTix had kindly sent us each their new London Big 6 Ticket, which I mentioned in a post last month, so we could visit some top attractions in the Capital. I’ve mentioned AttractionTix before, but in case you’re not up to speed they’re a great company that offer tickets to big attractions both in the UK and around the world including Disneyland, Walt…
