Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 4 – 1900 Park Fare, Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios
Getting bored of this yet? Still another 6 more after this update! I’m not sure how many people are actually reading my Walt Disney World updates so I’m really just doing them for me so I can look back on them. I am eventually going to do restaurant reviews and tip posts which may be of more interest. But until then… Day 4.
Our fourth day didn’t end up being as crazy as first anticipated! We had an early morning breakfast reservation at 1900 Park Fare with Bee, her partner Chris and her daughters Megan and Lily. I ended up getting on the wrong monorail and was slightly late but the front of house staff were a lot more laid back than I thought they would be. The breakfast was with Alice, The Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh & Tigger. I really enjoyed it and I’m sure LM did. I need a Mary Poppins in my house, she told the kids to sit down and eat their breakfast and they did without another word haha. After breakfast we headed into Magic Kingdom for Enchanted Tales with Belle. This was one of my favourite shows/entertainment. This was the first of the two times LM and I did it and Megan was chosen to be Philippe the horse. Basically, members of the group (audience?) are chosen to help Lumiere tell the story of how the Beast and Belle fell in love. It’s really cute and I had a lump in my throat the whole time. After this we split for a while from Bee and her family as LM was being treated to another magic moment and we were able to have an extra FP to go and see Rapunzel and Cinderella. We had also met up with Emily and she’d offered to photograph for me (because she’s more of a pro than I am!) We hung out for a while and then I took LM on Dumbo. After Dumbo I said goodbye to Emily (until Saturday) and met back up with Bee so we could ride the Seven Dwarves Mine Train. It was awesome and I’d say it’s up there as one of my favourite rides now. I really hope LM will be tall enough to ride come September! It wasn’t long after lunchtime now and LM was getting cranky as she was was tired so I headed back to the hotel so we could nap.
We spent a little time in the hotel, had a quick swim before getting ready for our evening out at Hollywood Studios. We caught the shuttle bus to the studios and headed straight to Hollywood & Vine for dinner as part of our Fantasmic Package. Again the food was really nice, a buffet which is always so much better for LM. She particularly enjoyed the chocolate fountain! After dinner we had a walk around the shops before making our way to the secret meeting point for Character Palooza where we met up with Mellie and her brother Benji. We had quite a wait but Little Miss enjoyed the space to run and play in. We also bumped into Jeanne (another friend from Instagram and her daughter Bella) so the girls rather enjoyed each others company. Once the gates opened we were treated to meets with the Genie from Aladdin, Mulan and Mushu and Tiana. It was wonderful and such a different environment to the usual character meets. After we’d finished, we had a little while before we had to go find our seats for Fantasmic so we went to do Muppets 3D and meet up with another sweet Instagram friend, Elli! She’d brought gifts for us and was just a really lovely girl. Unfortunately since I came during the time a lot of students had finals and essays we didn’t get to spend long together. Thankfully it was time to go for Fantasmic. I cannot describe the feels I had when the music started! As a kid Fantasmic was one of the highlights of my holiday and didn’t let me down! It was wonderful and although it had a giant snake and a dragon in it, LM really enjoyed it! It was finished by 9pm and although the park was still open I called it a night and we caught the bus back to the hotel.
Tomorrow day 5 will be up, then I haven’t managed to schedule anything for while I’m away over the weekend to see Disney on Ice!

I really enjoy reading your posts about Disney World as I have never been there (or in Disneyland for that matter), so I can experience the Disney magic through you!
