Neal & Wolf Summer Solstice Gift Set Review
LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FROM SOURCE
For well over two years now I have been a cheerleader for Neal & Wolf. Every since product I’ve ever tried has had me smitten. So obviously when I was offered a chance to review a new gift set, I was excited. Especially when it contained a new product, Control their flexible styling hairspray!
The gift set in question is the Summer Solstice Trio* RRP £26, which contains not only Control, but Harmony the intensive care treatment (review here) and Ritual the daily cleansing shampoo (review here). The trio claims to “banish frizz this summer” something as always, I’m happy to hear (I’m the original Hermione Granger when it comes to frizzy hair).
All three products smell amazing, it’s become something I expect from Neal & Wolf products and Control is no different, even with it being a hairspray. As I have reviewed the other two products I’m focusing mainly on Control and how it works with the other two products. I’m not the sort of person who does much styling, however I’m rather fond of the milk maid braid. I’m happy to report Control kept this style in place all day (even while in a windy seaside town), it wasn’t sticky at all and it was easy to brush out. Harmony always leaves my hair silky soft even days after washing so my hair was rather flyaway during the braiding process but Control kept it together for me once I had it pinned up.
I think all the products go together great and it makes a fab gift for anyone who cares about their hair as much as I do. Harmony will always be my top intensive treatment and I can never rave about it enough. Packaged together with Ritual and Control just makes it even sweeter especially as all three bottles are full size. Ritual and Harmony alone come to £26, so you’re essentially get the new hairspray to try for free. You really can’t get better than that!

Looks like a great set. How do you find the shampoo on your red hair?
I tend to go between shampoos for coloured hair and normal/ frizz products.

I’ve never heard of this brand but they sound great. My hair is a nightmare for frizz in the summer. Might have to try these out. 🙂
