Insta-Month August
The highlights were… Going on my US travels of course! In the space of 9 days, I managed to visit SIX states – DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey! I saw two cities, Washington DC & New York, watched Aladdin on Broadway, took two very long bus trips, went to a water park and saw one of the natural wonders of the world. It was breath taking!
Some things I have been loving… Hot Topic! I spent so much money there and I still have a full basket on the site! Dunkin Donuts iced coffee, Starbucks iced chai lattes, everything bagels with cream cheese, the dollar to pound exchange rate.. I also love being home with my daughter again. I missed her so damn much!
My favourite purchase.. Every meal I bought on holiday, seriously, the food was AMAZING!
Biggest regrets have been.. Uhh, I have no regrets I don’t think! I did and saw everything I wanted to!
Next month I hope… I manage to make some plans to fill the gap between now and Christmas.
Next month I’m looking forward to… Seeing the Lion King in Sunderland with my best friend Bee, my nephew’s THIRD birthday and attempting a Gruffalo cake for him.
So, all my insta-month photos are from my trip, this is mainly because I didn’t do much prior to it as the start of August was simply dedicated to getting ready for my trip then since returning I’ve been so jet lagged (hence the lack of blog posts) and ill (with a cold) that I just haven’t wanted to do anything more than lie in bed and play The Sims. Tomorrow I’m facing the world again, starting to diet again and getting back on track with email replying, blog admin and blogging in general. I feel so bogged down with everything that I know it’ll take me a while to get turned around, and I don’t mean just blog wise. My house is a tip at the moment, my washing basket is over flowing and I have a ton of eBay stuff to post! I can’t believe tomorrow is September! At least it’s acceptable to fully embrace Autumn and my favourite season, Christmas!
Hope you’ve had as good a month as I did!

Wow NYC looks like it was a blast! I’ve never been, but it’s definitely on my list of places to visit after I graduate. The view from your room looks like it was gorgeous – I can only imagine what actually being there must have been like! Great photos 🙂
